My First Bullet
Big meh. Loud, battery-draining, waste of time. Starts with a bang and dies with less than a whimper. Not worth the money and materials used to make it.

Pros
Good vibrations with new batteries, both bullet and thong are easily washed, thong is comfortable.
Cons
Very short battery life, fairly loud for its size, definitely only for the bedroom, thong is itchy.
This toy started out pretty well; batteries went in easily, the thong fit (Which I was not expecting), and the bullet itself went easily into the panties. Sadly, these good qualities aren't worth much when seen in respect to the poor quality of the item as a whole.
The bullet is well-constructed; smooth, easy to assemble and handle, and very easily washed (I just rinsed it off with tap water, voila). Unfortunately since it can only be turned on with a button located on the bullet itself, I'd wager it has few applications outside the bedroom. While the vibrations are initially fairly strong (Not amazing, but satisfactory), the battery life is so short that in 2-3 minutes the bullet was basically dead, and the second set of batteries didn't fare much better. On top of that, it's pretty loud for its size. With blankets and/or closed legs it gets fairly quiet, but I think it could still be heard through a door.
The thong was surprisingly comfortable, though the cloth is kinda itchy (Not that I was expecting high-quality satin or anything) as well as the feathers, and it washes easily by hand. Unfortunately, the blue bow on the back is pretty large so unless it was removed (Which I was hesitant to do, since it was pretty and I suck at tying bows) I imagine it would be pretty noticeable/uncomfortable under most clothes. So it would appear to be most useful at home and that's about it. In addition, the "pocket" for the bullet is made of nice soft cloth, but it noticeably kills some of the vibration (And not the sound!).
To be frank, I've gotten more use out of it using the bullet for practicing Kegels. I suppose it could theoretically be used on other areas of the body, but I didn't want to spend money on batteries that would die in five minutes, so science will just have to wait.

Experience
I've never used a bullet before so naturally I was excited to try this, but unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. The first set of batteries was almost completely drained after about two minutes (And there's only one button/power setting, mind you), and though it still kept going the vibrations were so weak that it was useless. The second set of batteries lasted a little longer but not by much. I don't know if this is typical of bullets or not, but if this hadn't been free I'd demand a refund. After the first set of batteries died, I just ditched the panties and used the bullet by itself and that was fine, but nothing to write home about. Again, this is the first time I've used a bullet so I didn't have particularly high expectations, but I still felt let down. I know it's a novelty item, but I don't think that excuses poor quality.
Also, I know this is extremely nit-picky, but they didn't even name it correctly; there's a very light blue bow on the back (Big enough to be impractical to wear outside the house), and that's it. This obviously doesn't matter as far as product quality, but it's the sort of thing that annoys me.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
Sadly, the short battery life of the bullet is its downfall. I was able to use it off and on for only about two weeks, and after the first few days, the bullet would die extremely quickly. It was nice while it lasted, but buying new batteries for it every week simply isn't worth it considering how mediocre the vibrations are. Alas, I'll probably wind up throwing it out.
