The Diamond is a great addition to any toy box. It's waterproof, it's pretty, it vibrates, and not only is it quieter than a lot of cell phones, it works. A curved end provides G-spot stimulation and the diamonds on the end make you feel like a princess the whole time.

Pros
Small, very quiet, waterproof, can be used with multiple lubes.
The Diamond G-spot vibrator is intended to stimulate, you guessed it, your G-spot! It features three speed settings that are just wonderful and the faux diamonds on the end add a touch of class that wouldn't normally be associated with sex toys.
The best use for this toy would be for solo play, but there's no reason you couldn't include a partner in the fun too.
The Diamond is made out of a lovely plastic, and I say lovely because it has some texture other than glossy. It has almost a matte finish and feels very smooth and velvety to the touch.
When removed from the package initially, there was no discernible smell other than a very slight plastic-y scent that didn't seem to last very long. There was no real taste to it either.
Because this product is made of plastic, it is also non-porous and phthalates-free. You can safely use a water, silicone, or oil based lube, but if you're planning on making use of the waterproof-ness of the Diamond you should probably go with a silicone based lube since it won't wash away as quickly as the water based.
The design of the Diamond is very simple: 4" of black plastic (including the battery compartment cap), and the G-spot stimulator extends about 1/4" out from the inside of the curve.
The battery compartment lid measures 1" in length with just over half of that being encrusted with "diamonds" of three different colors, every other row is the white diamonds and the rows in between alternate between a darker pink stone and a periwinkle stone being on top and on bottom. So one column of white, one column of pink on top, blue on bottom, one column of white, so on and so forth.
Battery installation is very easy.
The control dial turns easily and I had no problems with it changing speeds while being used.
The vibrations are located near the "stimulator" end and are much stronger than expected. The lowest setting can be used to get you started, the middle to work you up a bit more, and the highest setting to take you over the edge.
For the whollop that the tiny Diamond can pack, it is much quieter than I expected it to be. As a small test I turned it up to its highest setting and left the door open just to see if anybody walking by heard anything, and nobody said anything. It's audible if you're standing right next to it, but I've heard louder vibrations from cell phones.
To activate the vibrations simply twist the dial at the round end of the Diamond.
I've brought this vibe into the shower and the bath with me and it's come out alive and kicking every time. I recommend making sure you dry it off completely before attempting to remove the battery because while the outside is waterproof, the inside is not, and you could cause some damage.
The care and maintenance instructions were a bit tricky to find at first, mostly because they were located on the bottom of the box, and the only time I ever look on the bottom of the box is to get the answers to the trivia question on the back of the box. But location aside, they were still better than some I've read in the past.
What the instructions read:
- Requires 1 AA battery (not included)
- Wash product thoroughly before and after each use. We recommend the use of a toy cleaner such as safe suds, however warm soapy water may be used as well.
- Do not use on any open wound, skin lacerations, or swollen or inflamed areas.
- Discontinue use if pain or discomfort develops.
When you first remove the lid of the battery compartment there is a little sheet of paper inside with a picture of a AA battery with the positive and negative ends in the "correct position" that the battery should be in when inserted. Which is basically pointy side down so that the spring of the lid can rest against the flat end.
Personally I just sprayed the Diamond down with a toy cleaner I already own from Lover's Lane and wiped it down then put it back in the box for storage. I also recommend removing the battery from the compartment in between uses to prevent corrosion.
The box the Diamond came in looked almost like something that should be hanging on the shelf at Spencer's. Not that it was tacky so much as not discreet in the least bit except for it being just under 6"x4". The fact that it is a G-spot vibrator is written all over the box in all sorts of fonts and colors.
The Diamond was visible through a plastic window in the front of the box and is cased in a little plastic tray.
However gaudy this box may be, it is still small, and that is its saving grace because it can easily be tucked into a drawer. If you're worried about prying hands and eyes though, I would suggest wrapping it in a sock and making sure to follow the instructions to thoroughly clean before and after use.
I found it oddly discomforting to read on the back of this toy (and others I've received recently) that this product is sold for novelty use only. That never stopped me before when I was buying from Spencer's and Lover's Lane, but for some reason caught me off guard after getting this item from Eden Fantasys.
I would also highly suggest avoiding anal play with the Diamond because as much as you might want to show it off, having to have a doctor remove it for you is not the way you want to go about that. Also having said that, while I personally didn't try it this way, I wouldn't see anything wrong with using the curved stimulator end for some stimulation on the opening of the anal entrance so long as you thoroughly cleaned it before using it again on your lady bits.
I'd never used anything like this before, so I was a little unsure of what to expect the first time I used it, and I do have to say that the first time I used the Diamond was the first time I climaxed without the need of added clitoral stimulation. For that reason alone it earned its keep in my toy box and it has yet to disappoint. I would say it was well worth the price, and I would gladly buy it again if anything happened to this one.
As always, I'm only human, so if I missed anything or there are any questions, ask away :)
Follow-up commentaryI still like it4 months after original review
This is still a fantastic vibe if I'm not in the mood for something very filling. The vibrations are still strong, and I've dropped the toy a number of times in the shower.
Diamond isn't the most ideal for partner play just because she can get uncomfortable with lots of pressure, but she can still do wonders so long as you make sure that nobody's getting hurt.
