The Eager Beaver is a low-priced, jelly, dual-action vibrator, which would probably be best used by a beginner, or someone who doesn't mind more than normal upkeep and minimal vaginal stimulation. The rotation is somewhat lacking in power and its slight left or right rotation can barely be felt, making the Eager Beaver better for a new-to-vibes user or someone more sensitive. The vibration can be turned to a high or low setting, which is a good feature for those wanting control of vibration power. For those who need a quiet toy, this is not for you since its super loud - especially in high mode. The somewhat smaller size will not satisfy those wanting a larger shaft. The price tag is low and the vibrations are good, it just needs an owner who does't mind extra cleaning time and loud noise.

The jelly material is soft and bendy with a slight texture that doubles as a design, with a face on the head. The texture is minimal, but can be really uncomfortable when it comes to insertion. It felt as if it were scraping me. I am somewhat sensitive, so it may not do that to everyone. I think it is a combination of the jelly material not inserting so smoothly and the slightly raised design, but the bending didn't make it any better. It had quite a strong odor, which really put me off; I could smell it as soon as I opened the package, but I tried to look past it due to the low price and powerful vibrations.

I don't particularly love the odd face on the tip and shaft, but its not too bothersome. The tip is smooth and round, making it pretty easy to insert comfortably. The shaft could be bigger, but for a new user it's a good starter size. The beaver's tongue, which stimulates your clitoris, is among my favorite features of the toy. With the vibrations, it gives some "wowing" stimulation. The insertable length is about 4 1/2 inches, with the tip of the beavers tongue hitting at about the 3 3/4 inch mark. The overall size is kind of big, but not much of an issue unless you want to be discreet; if so this might not be for you. I had some small trouble with the battery compartment not fitting correctly, but I just worked it for a minute until it fit.

It has a choice of left or right rotation or none at all, and high or low vibration or none at all. I felt the rotation was a bit weak, but it was strong enough to keep rotation while squeezing my PC muscles. For the price, at least it gave that option. The vibrations are pleasantly strong when on high. The beaver's tongue tickles you just right with the vibrations, but they are very noisy, which put me off a bit. The controls are pretty simple and are able to be played with while the toy is inserted.

Since its made of jelly, I would take extra care with cleaning and storage. It can become sticky after use and cleaning, so I'd make sure to clean it again before use, or use a condom. Clean it with toy cleaner or good old soap and water. This vibe is not waterproof, so take care when washing. Make sure to thoroughly clean it, because it's good at hiding little spots in the grooves. Do not boil it since it's jelly and will melt. If you plan on sharing, use a condom.

The packaging was pretty plain jane, with a see-through front; not very discreet at all. No instructions were included, so if you're not entirely sure on how to use a dual vibrator, please read up on the correct usage.
