Because of the fun Cheshire cat design, you're probably best using this more for external uses than internal uses. If you're a fan of extreme texture though, you'll probably get a kick out of using this one vaginally though. Otherwise it's the perfect addition to the collection of any Alice in Wonderland fan.

The Kinky Kat is made out of silicone and plastic, although it's difficult to tell what's what when handling the toy. The battery cap is hard and feels like a velvet coted plastic, and the rest of the shaft feels the same only has a bit of squish to it. There's virtually no drag to the material; it will glide right over your skin quite easily. There's a slight scent to it but nothing offensive, nothing you can really detect without pretty much sticking it up your nose, and nothing that's really going to linger after a few good washings.

Anybody who's ever seen Alice in Wonderland will recognize that The Kinky Kat is modeled after the Cheshire Cat with its fuchsia color and wide toothy smile. The head of the toy is the head of the cat, minus the eyes for some reason. Directly below the head is a teardrop shaped body with a large prominent swirl that wraps around it and then meet a smooth shaft.

The total length from end to end is about 5 1/2". Around the head is about 4 1/2" and the shaft swells from 3 1/2" around to 4 1/2" around. The unique shape is better suited to external stimulation, but those who know they like a lot of texture shouldn't worry about trying it out internally. Just keep away from anal use since there's no flared base and nothing really to keep anything past the head from being sucked inside of you.

It's not immediately obvious as a sex toy, but it's not terribly hard to figure out what it is either based on the button at the base of the toy. It's very easy to travel with as well.

The Kinky Kat runs on 1 AA battery and is surprisingly strong for it. There are a total of 10 functions that are all activated with the button on the base of the shaft. One press gets you a high setting, then medium, low, a series of pulses, different pulsing, another pulsing setting, quicker pulses, slower pulses, longer pulses, short low pulses, then back to high again. You can turn the toy off by pressing and holding the button for 2 seconds, which is convenient if you happen to be walked in on. The vibrations themselves aren't anything extraordinary; a bit buzzy but still pretty strong. They're also quiet enough that even on high you shouldn't be able to hear them underneath a blanket or from the other side of a closed door.

There is an o-ring where the battery cap meets the rest of the shaft that worked well in the shower, but fully submerge at your own risk.

Care and maintenance should be fairly simple for the Kinky Kat. If you decide you want lube you're definitely safe with a water based choice. If you want to use a silicone based lube you should do a spot check on part of the shaft. Once you're all done you can wash up with warm soapy water, a toy spray or wipe, or if you want you can even clean it with a bleach solution. That's the route I would go with if you wanted to share it at all with anybody else, although you can also use a condom as well.

To store it you can keep it in a drawer, in the original packaging, in a plastic bag, wherever really. Since the material isn't really much of a lint magnet you don't have to be quite as careful, but it's never a bad idea to keep it somewhere away from dust and other stuff.

The packaging is pretty awesome. There's an outer cardboard sleeve that easily slides off and gives you a lot of basic information about the toy. Inside you have a sturdy cardboard case with a spot for the toy to rest in. It opens almost like a book and secures with a light magnet; something that keeps it shut but isn't difficult to deal with at all. The inside of the flap talks about the World of Wonderland and gives you a brief overlook of all of the toys in the line. You can easily give this as a gift without having to worry about it being tacky.

There wasn't really much in the way of instructions, but there also isn't anything terribly complicated about it either.

Alice in Wonderland has been a favorite of mine for a long time, so when I saw the Wonderland collection I was really excited to get a chance to try one of them out. As a vibrator goes there's nothing really all that outstanding, but as a collectors piece I think it's pretty darn cool. I really think that any fan of Alice in Wonderland would be happy to have this in their collection.
