More of a Pauper than a Prince

Eh... there are better beginner toys out there. If you're a sensitive lady who loves the jewels on the base of the toy, this is for you. If you like average to strong vibrations, and an overall decent to high quality toy, move on.

Use

The Prince is a small vibe designed for discreet pleasures. It won't be a fit for everybody, since it is small, on the weak side, and overall unimpressive. However, this could be a good choice for those new to toys and want to try a toy that won't sting the wallet too much if it doesn't work out. The vibrations will work for more sensitive ladies and probably bore those who need stronger vibrations.

The Prince can be used as a teaser toy if anything. You can use it to tease the nipples, genitals and skin. It can even be used internally, but the length for this purpose is lacking. For insertion, it's best suited for teasing the entrance of the vagina. This toy would be downright dangerous fo anal play. It is small enough to easily get lost, and the jewels toward the base of the toy would be a nightmare.

This one could also work for those who want a small, waterproof toy and those who do not have the privacy they wish they had. Again, beginners would be the ones checking this one out. More advanced users... move on.

Material / Texture

The Prince is made out of plastic. Plastic ranks an 8 out of 10 on the safety materials scale. It is non porous, so bacteria cannot thrive inside the toy. It is also hypoallergenic, making it more body friendly. There is no overt odor to the Prince.

The Prince doesn't really have texture. The insertable/usable portion is smooth. For an effortless glide, you can add a dab of lubricant. The main texture on this toy are the two rows of bedazzles that run around the base of the toy. They do make the toy easier to grip, but if you happen to get them near any sensitive bits, it won't be pretty. While some might think the jewels may come off, they seem to hold up well enough. The rhinestones might appeal to some women, others might find it on the tacky side.

The texture of the toy is beginner friendly. The Prince is rigid and will stay where you direct it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Prince is a little guy, both slim and petite. He measures in at 4 inches with an insertable length of 3.25 inches. The overall shape is like a litte, jeweled torpedo. The widest point of the toy is toward the top, then it thins to its neck. At its widest point, the Prince is 2.75 inches around. Here's a picture. The color is lighter than the actual color because of the flash.

Again, the Prince is small. The size is probably because he's designed for travel. If you're looking for a toy with any notable length and girth, look elsewhere. Size queens would just throw this one at my head. The Prince is a potential investment for the sensitive or new beginner. This could be a potential first toy. The Prince is easy to travel with. It can easily fit in a pocket if you want, it's that small and manageable. Because there is a turn dial, and not button at the base of the toy, the Prince is less likely to accidentally turn on during travel.

In terms of noise, the Prince is very quiet. It better be since it doesn't have power. Even at its high setting, the Prince is 2 Bees at most. If you throw a blanket over, you probably won't be heard, even if the door is open. Still, having a little background noise makes the Prince undetectable.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls for the Prince are easy to use. It works through a turn dial on the base of the toy below the jewels. Twisting the bottom both turns the toy one and puts it on the lowest vibration setting. There are no fancy patterns here. The more you turn the dial, the stronger the vibrations.

This toy at its strongest is a solid 2 Vrooms. The vibrations are buzzy and light. More of a tickle than a pleasure vibe, really. If you want a weaker toy as a teaser toy, then this could work out for you. If you like vibrations above 2 Vrooms, look away.

The good news is that the Prince is waterproof. It can be submerged so long as the toy is screwed on tight. It takes only 1 AA battery to use, and at least the battery lasts.

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Prince is normal to annoying. You can use wet wipes, toy cleaner, or soap and water. If you use it internally, you might have debris on or around the jewels, which will make it a pain to clean (especially if you use lube the drips down the toy).

Once dry, it can go with your general storage. Keep it out of direct contact with silicone toys as well as non porous toys. You don't want any potential coatings on the Prince to alter your silicone toys. And you don't want bacteria from a non porous toy to contaminate the Prince. Both silicone and water based lubricants can be used with this toy.

Packaging

Oh my...

The packaging is... vulgar and almost hysterical in a way. You can check out the picture on the product page, because if I post it, it'll contain uncensored nudity (nipples). It has a woman with her boobs out, looking trashy. What makes it "interesting," is that the box has a clear window letting you view the toy. The angle of the Prince lines up with the model's crotch. It looks like the Prince is an obnoxious penis for her.

So, if you're going to gift this toy, I would actually remove it from the packaging and buy a pouch. Unless you're gifting it to a person who has a good sense of humor that is. The box is not designed nor intended for long term storage.

Experience

I've experienced similar toys from this line, they all happen to be marked with jewels at the base. I also own the G-spot toy like this. Even if the motor is the same, I think the G-spot one is slightly better. At least the shape of that toys give you more creative ways to use it (even if the vibes are mediocre at best). I'm personally not a fan of the jewels, but I have to commend the fact that none of them have fallen off yet.

Perhaps I'm spoiled off my other toys, but this one made me yawn. Any experienced user is going to likely feel the same. If I come across another Prince, I will probably give it to a friend, but I wouldn't give this to someone completely new to toys (I'd be afraid of coloring their perspective on toys). This could still be a good gift to someone who has a couple of toys and is just willing to try anything new.
