The Diamond spot vibrator is cute. It's not intimidating and can be a great beginners toy. That's about it. If you like strong vibrations, deeper penetration, or more features, you should look elsewhere.
The Diamond spot vibrator is a small, discreet vibe with a G-spot tip to allow for additional G-spot stimulation. It is small, made to travel, and waterproof. The rhinestones around its base add a little flair to an otherwise basic, done a million times before, toy. Since it is on the smaller side, some may find thrusting with her a bit difficult.
The Diamond spot vibrator is good for masturbation, foreplay, stimulating the nipples, and bath time. This toy should not be used anally because of the small size and lack of a flared base (and can you imagine if those rhinestones slipped in? Ouch!) This vibe is geared more toward beginners, sensitive ladies, and those looking for their first, no-intimidating toy. While cute and a good value (now it's free with any purchase), it will probably bore more experienced players. It's always a good one to give away to a more newbie friend, though!
The waterproof quality add to the toy's discretion and allows those who have little privacy to enjoy vibrations during their showers. I think the Diamond spot vibrator is more of a teaser toy than anything, but she might be able to get some people off, especially if used with other toys at the same time.
The Diamond spot vibrator is made of plastic. With an 8 on the safety rating, plastic is non porous and can be cleaned in a variety of ways. Plastic toys on average last longer than other lower rated toys, such as jelly. The insertable part of the toy is smooth. The only part with texture is the base that has decorative rhinestones. The Diamond spot vibrator is solid and will not flex or band, thus it can provide firm G-spot stimulation.
I don't know if this is a case with just my toy or if it is a manufacturing thing, but my Diamond spot vibrator has a bit of an imperfection below the G-spot tip. It looks like that place was either stressed, damaged, or something. Either way, here's picture of it.
The texture of the Diamond spot vibrator is beginner friendly. The G-spot curve is present, but not extreme. It should still allow for thrusting. There is no overt odor to this toy.
The Diamond spot vibrator is small. Its total length is a little over 4 inches from end to end. The insertable part is a little over 3 inches. If you have a deeper G-spot, this toy won't work for you. If you find smaller toys cumbersome, especially insertable ones, you may get annoyed by it. Here's a picture of the Diamond spot vibrator compared to a pencil. It really looks smaller than what you may think from the online picture.
The shape allows for discretion. The Diamond spot vibrator can be hidden in a purse, pocket, or anywhere that an inhaler would fit, really. Because it runs on 2 AA batteries, the toy can be taken anywhere. At the lower setting, this toy is about 1 Bee. At the highest setting, it gets to about 2 Bees. With a blanket thrown over, you shouldn't be heard beyond your door.
Again, the size is great for beginners and even those experimenting with their first G-spot toy.
The Diamond spot vibrator has a turn dial control at the base of the toy. The controls are pretty intuitive. Simply turn it to power it on. The more you turn, the stronger it becomes. Its vibrations ranges from 1 Vroom at its weakest setting to about 3 Vrooms at its highest. The vibrations are standard. There are not patterns with this toy. The vibrations may not be enough for those who prefer or need stronger vibrations. However, it may be pleasing if you have a shallow G-spot and apply constant stimulation.
The motor is fair, if slightly on the weak side. I personally expected a better, stronger motor for a toy that runs on 2 AA batteries. It may be me, but the Diamond spot vibrator tends to sound more... rickety when she's running low on her batteries. If anything, it's a good indicator to change your batteries. The Diamond spot vibrator holds batteries okay, it's not a guzzler nor does it have an excessively long battery life.
The Diamond spot vibrator contains a little plastic/rubber ring that allows the toy to be waterproof. It is able to handle showers with ease. I have not submerged the toy, but I assume, if screwed tightly, the seal would keep water from entering the battery compartment.
Maintenance for this toy is easy. Being plastic and non porous, you will not have any harboring bacteria on your toy after cleanings. After use, you can use soap and water, or you can wipe it down with an alcohol pad and rinse. You can use any lubricant on the Diamond spot vibrator: silicone or water. It is technically compatible with oil based lubricants but oil based lubes are not compatible with vaginas.
I have the black vibe, so any debris that collects on it will be more obvious than other colors. Some lint and dust can be seen on the toy, but you can use a wet wipe if you want to wipe it down before use.
It is best to remove the batteries if you are storing your toy for a while before your next use. Because it turns on with a dial at the base, it is easy for the vibe to accidentally turn on and lose its battery power (or cause an embarrassment).
Once it is dry, the Diamond spot vibe can be placed anywhere she'll fit or in your general toy storage.
It's not discreet: it's obvious it's a vibe. It is a clearish plastic box. Mine had a bit of a sharp edge when opening and I nicked myself on it. It could have been a fluke, but be careful when excitingly opening your box. The packaging is not designed for long term storage.
There is an insert showing how to properly insert batteries in the toys battery compartment.
This little guy is more cute than anything else. It really won't give most ladies what they need. It is made fairly well for its price and the colored rhinestones are a nice touch. Other than that, I don't see other redeeming aspects to the Diamond spot vibrator. It is great gift to give to a friend just starting their adventure with sex toys.
Personally, I use this vibe as a teaser toy. The spot designed for the G-spot is useful for more directed stimulation on other areas. My partner likes to run it over my skin to get me in the mood. The vibrations feel very nice on nipples, near the spine, and around the breasts. It is titillating more than anything. I gave up using this vibe for my G-spot and barely use it internally. It is great for teasing the entrance of the vagina, but its to hard to hold if you want deeper penetration.
This toy is visually appealing, so I find it okay to keep in my collection. It is so small that it doesn't take much space at all to keep. If I get ahold of another one these guys, I'll probably give it away to a friend. They are great as introductory toys.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
The diamond spot vibe is cute. It's nothing special. It sits in my "hardly used but don't want to throw out" toy box. There's nothing wrong with it. Its vibrations are mild, it's not very loud, and isn't a battery guzzler.
Overall, I have nothing bad to say, but this toy probably won't be "the" toy for most people. It's best suited for travel and more sensitive ladies.

Are you going to return it because of the imperfection? It doesn't look big but it's still, well, there. Anyway, great review! Thanks for sharing~

Thank you for sharing. It does look cute, but stinks that it's not more than that.

Thanks for the great review and all the photos! Mine had a weird flaw right in the same space as well... but I didn't even want to use it because it was way too weak for me.
