The Pleasurepillar is another fantastic Wonderland toy from Doc Johnson. Honestly, he his in my top 3 out of the 5. Sometimes, he is even my favorite! He's made to be a g-spot vibrator, but he isn't going to work that way for those of us with very deep g-spots. Shallow to mid-range he will reach just fine I think, but there is no way that he is going to reach mine while I still have a sold grip on him.

He isn't anal safe because he lacks a flared base, but if so inclined, you can use him to stimulate the external anus.

The toy portion of this is made out of a smooth silicone while the handle is made from firm, smooth plastic. While the silicone is smooth, there are two tiny seams that run along the sides of the toy. These are barely noticeable to the eye, and I can't feel them at all when I use it.

Neither plastic or silicone has any odors, nor did they retain any.

The bulges are noticeable, but not overwhelming for me. I am not a huge fan of texture, but the bulges are a very nice addition. It creates a nice filling feeling and stimulates all of the nerves at the vaginal entrance.

The Pleaurepillar is very reminiscent of the Caterpillar from Tim Burton's Alice in Womnderland, both in the bright teal color and the shape. It's adorable in my opinion. It's got quite the curve on it, so I imagine that it will work well for g-spotting, but with only 4" insertable of the 5.5" length, it just doesn't hit my deep g-spot. He is one of the widest Wonderland toys with a 4" circumference, but I am a size queen when it comes to girth, so he isn't a toy that really works for me internally.

He is amazing as a clitoral vibe, because the tip hooks into my hood and feel amazing.

The Pleasurepillar is a fairly small toy, so I find he is easy to hide even in his packaging. It's about the size of a paperback book. I tuck him in a drawer with all my other "regular" toys in my night stand with no problems. I have also taken him traveling as he easily tucks into a makeup bag.

This runs on 1 AA battery, and is quite strong. It's not quite as powerful as my high intensity bullet, but the texture makes up for that. The vibrations are well balanced throughout the cat, there doesn't seem to be a place that they are specifically centered. It's about as loud as my cell phone on vibrate, so it's not going to be an issue at all behind a closed door, but you may not want to use it with your dorm mate sleeping in the same room.

The functions pick up where you left off, so if you have a favorite it will always start with what you used last. I actually don't normally like functions, but a lot of these I am finding really enjoyable. I like the strong pulses. Turning this off just requires holding the button down for about 2 seconds, and it will shut off. The button flashes a white light in time with the function you are using which my partner likes, because it makes using it on me simpler for him.

The waterproof seal on the battery compartment works perfectly. This has accidentally had a swim in a full sink of water with no ill effects.

Silicone is a 10 on the EF safety scale because it is sterilizeable, but because this has a plastic base a lot of that is lost. You can still wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it, but you can't boil it or put it in the dishwasher. This is cleanable with mild soap or toy cleaner and warm water.

Silicone cannot be used with silicone lubricants, so make sure you stick to water based lubes. Same rules apply for storage. You don't want to store this touching other silicone products. The packaging for this makes a great storage option.

The packaging on this is above and beyond what I would expect for a toy in this price range. On the outside, there is a cardboard sleeve that you slide off. Then the toy is nestled in a 7"long box that has a magnetic closure. This keeps the toy tucked safely inside. I have thrown this box with my Pleasurepillar inside into a backpack for travel, and it has stayed perfectly safe. I use the box as a permanent storage solution for this toy.
