I could not get the door off, and struggled for at least 10 minutes. Once the door is removed, the positive and negative battery indicators can be seen. I like this option so I don't have to play the guessing game with the placement of the batteries.

Two buttons are located on the handle of the Luxe. When it is in operation, the LEDs illuminate red. The top button controls the on/off. It is the power button. In order to turn the Luxe on, you must first push this button. Likewise, you have to push the on/off to turn the toy off. This is really convenient and a time-saver. With most vibrators, you have to cycle through all the settings to get it to turn off; this is not the case with the Luxe. The bottom button is to control the actual settings. The massager consists of Escalating, Pulsating and Vibrating modes. There are a total of 7 modes. The first three modes are the constant vibrations. They range from low (1 vrooms), medium (2 vrooms) and high (3 vrooms). The next four modes are patterns. It consists of low to high intensity escalating vibrations, high pulsating vibrations, high fast pulsating vibrations, and alternating pulses.

I give the Luxe a 3 out of 5 vrooms. For me, the vibrations were not strong enough. I wish they could have been a little stronger because I still have not been able to reach an orgasm with this vibe.

The quietness of the Luxe is extraordinary. It is the quietest vibe I have ever owned. It cannot be heard through covers and definitely not through a door. While holding the Luxe in my hand, I can barely hear it running. I am very impressed with how quiet it is.

The Luxe Rejuvenate is very easy to clean with its sleek and smooth design. After using the massager, wash it carefully with warm, soapy water or an antibacterial toy cleaner. Submerging the Luxe into water is not recommended even though the package states "waterproof".
