The Beaver Shot by Evolved is molded from hard plastic. This makes it transmit its vibrations very well. It has no discernible scent. The outside of the vibrator is textured like a shotgun shell, but we did not notice any real difference in the experience because of that. The hard plastic does make it very easy to clean. And it is waterproof for taking down beavers in their natural environment.

The basic design of the Beaver Shot is that of a shotgun shell. Overall it is three and a quarter inches long, and insertable for two and a half inches. The diameter is less than three quarters of an inch. For clitoral use, this is a pretty good size. The missus found it to be a little narrow for the job. I did find that it works well as a replacement bullet for cock rings.



One great thing about the Beaver Shot is it hides in plain sight. You could leave this toy lying on the coffee table and, unless someone started playing with it, people would think it is a shotgun shell. That could cause problems if you are traveling by air. It is certainly small enough to travel but could be mistaken for the real thing.

One note about the batteries: When you are not using the Beaver Shot you should remove the batteries or you may find a dead battery when you are ready to play again.

This toy is whisper quiet when used outside the body, and almost completely silent when inserted. You do have to be careful if you choose to insert this toy due to its small size.

The Beaver Shot is very easy to take care of. It is crafted from non-porous hard plastic that can be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner. It is waterproof so you do not have to worry about damaging the controls when you do clean it.

Storage is simple for the Beaver Shot. We just throw it in the bedside drawer when we are not using it. You don't have to worry about it coming into contact with other toys because of the hard plastic.

The material also makes it compatible with any lubricant you want to use with it. It is just as happy with water-based, oil-based or silicone lubricants.

There is not really a whole lot to say about the packaging. The Beaver Shot arrives with a shrink wrap coating. I thought it a little strange considering how Evolved usually packages their products, but it certainly works.

We tried this toy several ways before writing this review. We found that it works well for basic external stimulation of the nipples and the clitoris. For us it was more of a novelty item and ultimately the wife had to switch it out for her regular bullet to finish the job. She found that the Beaver Shot was just a little too narrow and not as powerful as she was used to. I do love that it can be used as a replacement bullet in cock rings and the like. I have always had a bit of disdain for bullets that take watch batteries and the Beaver Shot is a good substitute.
