I got this toy as a buy-out, and I was thrilled to get it! I have always wanted to try a remote controlled egg with my man in public, and this says it is meant to "make love at a distance". With its different settings, I was excited about all the possibilities that this toy offered. To my dismay, it didn't turn out exactly how I had imagined. The idea of this toy is amazing! I mean, who doesn't want to share that kind of secret with your partner in a crowded room. Unfortunately, though, that's not exactly how it played out for us!

This egg has a velvety smooth outside surface for easy insertion. It is made of a hard plastic that is phthalates free, hypoallergenic and latex free. When I removed it from the box, I didn't notice any fowl odors, or anything of that nature. It did feel very smooth. The only concern I had was the seam where the batteries go in -- it could accidentally catch or scratch someone, but I had no issues! The retrieval cord looks like a copper wire inserted through clear plastic tubing, which makes it very safe too!

This toy is an oblong shape, with a removal string attached to the end. When I ordered it, I looked at the dimensions, which are 3" Length, 4" circumference, and 1 1/4" diameter. I just didn't realize how big that really was. Think of something as big around as a D size battery, but a bit longer. As scared as I was of the size, I was able to get it inside -- although a little lube may have made that a bit easier than it was. The remote matches the egg in color, and is about 2" long, and 1" wide. It has a lobster clasp, and a sliding protector to keep the buttons from getting pressed when you don't want them to.

This toy has 10 different speed settings that go between different vibration speeds, pulsating, escalating, decreasing, and mix there of. I like the settings it had, and the intensity. It is waterproof, which I suppose is kind of a given -- seeing as how it is a fully insertable toy. It also has a retracting cord so that it can be easily removed when you are done with it. The range for the remote is very impressive, I think. It says it has a range of up to 20 meters. When it first arrived, of course we had to play with it. So, after I inserted it, we kept testing the distance of the remote. Wherever I went in our 2 story townhouse, the signal reached! So, I was definitely happy with that!

The egg takes 2 AAA batteries. I like that it takes a rather common battery; the ones that takes those weird battery types are annoying, especially when they run out quickly! The buttons on the remote are very user friendly. There is an on/off button, and an up and down button to scroll through the settings. I would warn though, this isn't the loudest toy I've come by, but it's not the quietest either. Once inserted, the sound is muffled some, but in an intimate setting... I wouldn't be surprised if someone could hear it.

Since this toy is a hard plastic, care is fairly simple. You can just use a regular toy cleaner to clean it off. When it's clean and dry, it doesn't attract any lint or hair. Be careful, though, if it's a little wet and you go to set it down, then it collects everything! Once cleaned, we just keep ours in the bottom drawer in our nightstand, which has been fine for us!

Like I mentioned earlier, when I ordered this I was so giddy to get the package! Once it came, I was shocked at how big the egg really was. My man and I both were expecting something a little smaller, but that's okay, we were able to insert it! For the novelty factor, it's a lot of fun! My man had a lot of fun turning it on and off throughout the night, just to gauge my reaction. As for the stimulation, though, it didn't really hit my g-spot. It was just a kind of strange feeling. That could just be me, though. The only tangible complaint I have with this toy is that the first day we had it, it worked beautifully. There were no problems or anything, and yes, we did play around with it for awhile. We didn't play around nearly enough to drain the 2 brand new AAA's that were in it, though. The next time I went to turn it on, it would just shut off, or it wouldn't go through all the different settings. Once I shut it off for awhile, I could get it to turn on -- but only for a few minutes again. My guess is that the batteries are dead, which is very disappointing! Like I said, though, that is the only tangible complaint I have about this toy.
