I admit it: I’m a girl who loves rhinestones! I value clean lines and simplicity, and some part of me is always drawn to outlandish sparkle. One of the things I really enjoy about the "Groovies Wave – Diamond Queen traditional vibrator" by Shaki Toys is that it actually combines clean lines and simplicity with a touch of glitz. What more can a girl ask for?

Well, a girl can also ask for a strong vibration and some different settings. Again, wish granted! A girl (or boy, I should say) could also wish for a convenient travel friendly and waterproof toy. POOF! Wish granted again!

This toy is like the "Queen" of small-ish traditional vibrators!

I wasn’t expecting much from this toy, and if you’re really looking for bells and whistles, it won’t knock your socks off. However, if you’re looking for a decent and relatively small traditional vibrator, you’ll be quite happy. The vibration was enough to get me off with clitoral stimulation, and the patterns were pleasant. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and is really surprisingly strong for a AAA toy.

There are four different functions this vibe can cycle through at the touch of a button located on the bottom of the vibe. The function's official names are listed as “Rollercoaster / Vibrating / Escalating / Pulsating”. I myself am a big fan of pulsating. The vibe is also fairly quiet which is always nice when you don’t have as much privacy as you would like or just don’t like loud, buzzy vibes.

It’s a slim toy, so if you are looking for girth, look elsewhere. The product specs list it as: "Length:5 1/2", Insertable length:4 1/4", Circumference: 3 1/4", Diameter:1," and Weight: 0.2 lb"

The packaging is fairly minimal. It comes in a plastic blister pack with a cardstock insert with the basic information about the vibe. It is mostly its name and functions. There is no smell, unpleasant or otherwise, that I detected upon opening the package.

The texture of the toy is a velvety plastic. Plastic is easily cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, or it can be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol. Plastic is also compatible with oil, silicone and water-based lubes. It’s nice and versatile where lube is concerned and easily cleaned.

The on/function button, while not hard to push, is not easily pushed either. I would feel comfortable tossing this toy in my purse without worrying about it accidentally being turned on in public.
So far, my underwater trials have gone well. I’ve had no problems with the waterproof seal, and I like to give them a good test in a long bath!
