Little worm

When this came out, I had to have it for cuteness sake more than anything. I loved that it was green and that it looked like a little caterpillar. I was not disappointed when I received this on cuteness by any means. However, the reason I order toys is to achieve satisfaction. In that aspect, this toy does not deliver for me. It is at the highest setting a 3 Vroom and I require something a little bit stronger than that.

Use

The Click 'n' Charge version of Little Paul by Fun Factory is a small, discreet, rechargeable vibrator that looks very similar to a worm or caterpillar. Its primary use is for internal stimulation, but could also be used to stimulate other erogenous zones that enjoy stimulation such as the clitoris, nipples, testicles, etc.

It is small, elegant, and discreetly designed to be a perfect companion to solo or couple play. It is not designed for anal insertion and does not have the proper shape and flared base for this so I do not recommend using Little Paul anally. In fact, the box Little Paul came in has a picture of an ear, nose, and butt X'd out displaying that the product should not be used in those places. Personally, I have never thought about inserting a toy in my ear or up my nose, but the German manufacture Fun Factory thought it was important to display so we wouldn't do it.

Little Paul is waterproof so it can be taken into the bath, shower, or hottub with you.

Due to its small unintimidating size, Little Paul would be perfect for beginners. It also does not have a true phallic shape so it is suitable for those who do not like penis shaped toys or their partner does not want them to have realistic toys.

Material / Texture

According to the Fun Factory box, Fun Factory stands for esthetic erotic toys made of high-quality and skin friendly material. A perfect in form design and a harmonious appearance, combined with a convincing functionality lead to the uniqueness of Fun Factory products.

The MiniVibes Little Paul is made out of plastic and silicone which are considered to be 8 and 10 on the safety scale respectively. Both materials are considered to be non-porous and won't harbor bacteria. They are also phthalate free, latex free, and hypoallergenic.

The part that is plastic is the core of the toy and is considered firm, but it does allow for some flexibility at the nose, but not at the shaft of the toy unlike some other plastic toys that do not allow for any flexibility at all.

The silicone is the top portion of the toy and is the material that is inserted. The silicone is smooth to the touch and has some drag to it. I would advise using lubricant with it if you do not produce a lot of natural lubrication.

This toy is for those that enjoy light texture so if you prefer smooth toys then this would not be for you. First there are two small "eyes" at the top of the head of Little Paul and below the nose is a smile.

The shaft of the body has six rings around it that progress in size as the size of the toy progresses. There is also a raised + and - symbol at the base of the toy.

There was a light silicone smell and taste to it when I first opened it out of the box, but it is not something that is overpowering.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the Minivibes Little Paul reminds me of a worm or caterpillar. It comes in a bright green color that is a very nice deviation from pink toys that other companies prefer.

The size of Little Paul is perfect for me because I prefer smaller toys, but for those that like larger, thicker toys then this toy may not be for you. It would be suited for beginners as well that are starting out because the size is not too large and intimidating.

It has an overall length of 6" from the top of the toy to the bottom of the toy. The toy comes in different sizes around at different places on the toy. At the nose, it is 3 3/4", progresses to 4" around at the 3rd ring, 4 1/4" at the 4th ring and 5th rings, and 4 3/4" right at the magnetic base.

You can easily fit this in your bag, purse, or pocket if you want to take it traveling with you. It does not look like a conventional sex toy so I consider it to be discreet yet most that are familiar with sex toys would know its true purpose. If you accidentally left it out and had company over, I'm sure they would could assume its real intentions, so if that is something you have to worry about I would suggest not leaving it out.

Functions / Performance / Controls

According to the box Little Paul came in, MiniVibes Click N Charge products are of a special kind. Their powerful motors provide tingling vibrations and promise the greatest pleasure. The special shape of the vibrator's shaft made of "gentle touch" silicone promises intense stimulation. A must-have for anyone whose passion knows no limits. They want you to get the most thrilling stimulation and the greatest passion with new technology.

As far as I'm concerned, Fun Factory's Little Paul does not meet their promises for me. I would consider Little Paul to be a 3 Vroom at the highest setting and I require a minimum of 4 Vrooms to achieve "great pleasure, great passion, and feel intense stimulation." If you are like me that require a lot of power to achieve satisfaction, then this toy would not be for you. However, if you prefer 3 Vrooms or require little power to climax, then this discreet and rechargeable toy could be perfect for you.

The controls are pretty easy to use. At the base of the toy are two buttons: a + and a -. To turn on, hold the + for a few seconds and it will turn on. It has at least seven levels of vibrations and will start at its lowest setting; continue pressing + to increase the power of the Little Paul. Press the - to decrease the power and finally to turn it off.

It also has three levels of patterns to choose from. I've never been a big fan of patterns and prefer solid vibrations, but I know that is not the case for everyone. To get into pattern mode, you have to be at the highest vibration level and then hold the + again for a few seconds. To cycle through the three levels just hit the + again. The patterns are as follows:

1) cycle of increase and decrease of power
2) fast rev of of pulsation patterns
3) very fast increase pulsation pattern

The vibrations are located mostly at the shaft of the toy, but do disburse to the tip of the toy and can be felt there as well. The vibrations are a mix-breed of rumbly and buzzy leaning toward more buzzy. They can be felt around surface level, and do cause my hand to become numb and itchy while holding it for a long period of time. It is not as buzzy as bullets tend to be, that's why I'm calling it a mix between rumbly and buzzy. They vibrations are much deeper than bullets, but still can be felt somewhat at surface level.

This product is 100% waterproof and does perform magnificently in the water. Due to its Click N Charge technology, Little Paul does not have a twist cap where water would seep through to the battery compartment. The instruction manual states the control panel and the silicone sheath are firmly fastened to each other and are therefore 100% waterproof. Whatever the reason, Little Paul is waterproof so you may take it wherever you please.

As far as noise is concerned, it's pretty quite. It cannot be heard above the covers, through the door, or through thin walls. You will not become distracted when using this toy and will not need background noise to muffle what you're doing.

A lithium polymer accumulator is found in the vibrator. The rechargeable battery is recharged by using the Fun Magnetic plug. To charge, connect the metallic plug onto the two metal FUN at the bottom of the vibrator and plug into a wall socket. It will glow red when charging and the light will turn off when it is complete. It requires 6 hours to charge fully for first use, but I was fortunate that mine came with some charge in it when I received it so I was able to play with it immediately. It should have a play time of an hour once fully charged.

The two logos must be placed completely and parallel over each other for it to charge properly. I find the Click N Charge way of charging batterys to be inconvenient and harder to use than some of my other rechargeable toys.

Care and Maintenance

Warning, Little Paul picks up every piece of hair, dirt, lint, etc. that may be laying around so it is best to wash before and after every use. Since it is waterproof, cleanup is a breeze just clean it with mild soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner or toy wipe.

It does not come with any additional storage pouch. I keep mine in my lingerie drawer with my other toys in a dedicated toy pouch that I swiped from another toy that doesn't pick up as much lint as this one does.

Water based lubricants should be used with this toy. Silicone lubricant can potentially mess up the materials, so make sure not to use them. If you must use silicone lubricant, please do a patch test first.

Always unplug before cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before reconnecting the charger and plugging it into an outlet.

Packaging

The packaging is not all that exceptional for a product in this price range. I'm used to packaging from Lelo and Je Joue where they come as a nice box inside another box. That is just not the case with Fun Factory. They have a normal cardboard box that you can see the product through with magnets on the outside that displays information about the product. It also features a toy in the Fun Factory line on the back of the package so it is not discreet. It also has an instruction pamplet in several languages describing the product and a product guide displaying all of the products from Fun Factory. It also came with a sample packet of their lubricant which they call toy fluid.

The Fun Magnetic Plug came in its own seperate box.

Experience

Overall, this is a nice toy but it does not have enough power for me to be able to achieve any satisfaction from it. I've been on the hunt for the perfect internal toy that will bring me a vaginal orgasm. Unfortunately, Little Paul is not the toy for me. I feel that Fun Factory has a very well-crafted product and should last a long time but is not the perfect toy for me. I will continue my hunt and see what product, shape, size, flexibility, and curve is right for me. I know that all women's bodies are made differently and react differently to stimuli so although this may not be the perfect toy for me, that may not be the case for you.
Follow-up commentary
I originally wanted this for cuteness sake. That's all it has been for me unfortunately. It is a nice luxury toy, but the 3 Vroom power just doesn't cut it for this power queen.
