I enjoyed playing around with all the different options, and would recommend this to anyone who is new to toys or who wants to experiment with different sizes and textures. It's a great set at a great price!
The Lavender 6 Pak is a great buy for beginners or someone who wants to play around with different textures. It comes with 2 vibrators and 4 sleeves, 1 for the larger one and 3 for the smaller one, so all together you have 6 options for one awesome price! You can use this alone or have a partner play with you! It can be used for clit stimulation and G-spot stimulation as well. I don't recommend this for anal play because neither have a base. The whole set wouldn't be too travel friendly but you could easily throw the smaller vibrator in a bag and go!
The vibrators are a hard plastic, there is NO FLEXIBILITY! The sleeves are a jelly material, and they are squishy but there is NO FLEXIBILITY! The sleeve for the larger one is smooth and has no texture to it but it does have somewhat of a curve. The 3 smaller sleeves are all different. One is simply shaped like a penis, one is shaped like a penis with 2 large nubs on the bottom, and one is somewhat flat at the head with little nubs all over. The variety is nice but there is a downside; the sleeves are difficult to put on and take off.
It says on the box, "Always use a water based lubricant with this product for maximum pleasure." I suggest you listen! Use a little lube to help slide the sleeves on, it really helps! Once you have the sleeves on there is a space between the vibrator and sleeve that can feel a little odd, and sometimes makes sound because of the air in the end. The surface texture of both the vibrators and the sleeves are smooth.
Because of the material, lint and other things will stick to them so be sure to clean them before and after every use. An upside is, there was no chemical-like smell or odor to any of the products.
The design and shapes are wonderful! There is so much you can do with this set! As I already stated, you have differently sized vibrators and sleeves. The larger vibrator has an insertable length of 6" and the smaller one has an insertable length of 4". Both have a circumference of 3-1/4". It is meant to be a variety pack and it definitely serves its purpose well. Great starting point for someone new to toys!
The vibrations on both vibrators are located more in the head. On the lowest setting it's barely anything, but the highest setting gives off a pretty nice buzz. It may not be enough for some advanced users but it would definitely work for the majority of people. Together the vibrators use 3AA batteries. The bigger one uses 2AA batteries and the smaller one uses 1. The batteries aren't included. Both have a dial base, which is really convenient during use and gives you a lot of control over how strong or weak you want the vibrations to be. Neither are very loud and could easily be covered with a closed door or, if you want to be extra careful, turn on your T.V. or some music.
When cleaning be careful not to get water around the battery chamber as neither of the vibrators are waterproof. On the vibrators and sleeves you can simply use warm water with your favorite toy cleaner. If you prefer to use an antibacterial soap instead, make sure it isn't too strong. I suggest you get a bag or toy box to store this in and make sure you keep them in a cool dark place.
The packaging is minimal. They come in a flimsy cardboard box. When you open the box the vibrators and sleeves are in an unsealed plastic bag with no instructions. The only instructions are what's printed on the box, and that hardly counts as instructions at all. Not the best packaging I've seen by far.
My favorite is definitely the smaller vibrator. I'm a big fan of the multiple sleeves. The one with little nubs all over the end works wonders for clit stimulation. However, the one shaped like a penis with the two larger nubs on the end is kind of a let down. It's meant as clit and anal stimulation but doesn't do either.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it35 months after original review
I did away with the sleeves due to the material and overall displeasing feel of them. I do still have both vibes and they've held up over time quite well.
