Keeping the world clean one vibe at a time!
The Solar Bullet has crazy strong, multiple speed vibrations, all without batteries! The power was surprising for something that doesn't take batteries!
Published:
Pros
No batteries. Strong vibration. Interchangeable head. Quick charging
Cons
Power cell could have a lower power setting
I'm not a "granola" type of girl, but this little wonder has me thinking about more renewable types of energy now!
So, I got one of the Solar Bullets in Black and tried it out immediately. I threw the solar panel in the window on my way out the door and headed to work so it could charge while I was working. When I got home, I checked it out and played around for a while... the bullet is just the right size for fun (internally or externally!) and the variable speed goes from normal (not low) to WOOOOHOOOO! (super high!). I was VERY impressed by the speed of something that's solar and rechargeable!
I'm not too sure what the deal is with the light, it's kind of an odd fixture, but I made use of it; it WAS handy in turning it off when I was done and couldn't find the solar panel controller in bed! I was too wiped to get up and turn off the light!
The Solar Bullet had no noticeable scent to it and was amazingly quiet, even on its fastest setting. The velvet-type coating is super smooth to the touch and easy to clean, as well! I simply washed with soap and water avoiding the remainder of the cord, and then sprayed down with some toy solution and rinsed after, just like any of my other toys.
I even tested the Solar Bullet with a few of my other plug-in toys and found that they all ran beautifully and strong for a really long time (far greater than the hour they promise!). Even the eggs that normally take a controller with three AA batteries don't seem to run as strong as the solar power cell.
This little beauty is pretty cool and definitely worth the money. Just think of all the money I'll save on batteries! I'll definitely be checking out more products like this and seeing what kinds of attachments I can find that will work with the power cell!

Well, I still like this product immensely, but now live in a house full of people and my bedroom and bathroom have old-style farmhouse windows without a windowsill, so I'm not able to charge it when I go to work anymore. It's such a shame that it doesn't work with in-home lighting, because then, it'd be ON! Instead, I'll have to stick with mostly rechargeables if I want something I don't have to replace the batteries on. I'll stick to my guns about taking it camping, though... just gotta make sure no one steals it from the campsite while you're out roaming through the forest! Better yet, it'd make a handy toy running around the desert instead, Burning Man, here we come!

What is the light you refer to in the review? Where is it at on the toy and how bright is it? Good info on being able to use the solar pack with other plug in toys!

Solar powered sex toys? I love it!

@bzzingbee - The light is at the very tip of the bullet. It's a weird place for it, but it's a bright white LED light, so it's bright enough if you needed to use it for a flashlight, you could!

When you say that you wish the power cell had a lower setting, do you mean like you wish you could change the speed?
-
@LucyMalfoy - Yes. It's a very strong vibe, but for me personally, sometimes it's a little bit too strong. I prefer adjustable so that when I'm overstimulated, I can turn down the power! LOL
