Just plug, and play
Being out of batteries is no longer a problem with California Exotics E-Sensual Bullet. Powered by the USB port in your computer, this little guy is always ready to go. Brings the term plug and play to a whole new level.

Pros
No batteries needed, multispeed, dedicated off switch
Cons
Cord could be a bit longer, you can only use it via USB
Well isn't this a nifty idea. We all love our bullets. They are compact, get you off quick, and always there when we need them unless of course, you are out of batteries. The E-Sensual bullet by California Exotics is your typical style silver bullet, but with a twist. It plugs into your computers USB port for instant power without having to worry about swiping the batteries from the TV remote or the Wii controllers. (What? Don't look at me like that. You know you have done it. We have all done it.)
Let's start out with what we are dealing with here. This is a 2.25 inch long silver bullet, with a diameter of 3.25. It has the usual crevice around the middle where the 2 pieces join. This attaches to a 42 inch long wire. About 7.5 inches down from the bullet itself, is the controller. The controller is black, covered in soft PU Cote, and has 2 buttons - a dedicated off switch and one that turns the toy on and cycles through the various speeds and patterns. From the controller, you have almost 33 inches of wire until it meets with the USB plug. To use it, just plug it in and go. There is no software to install, nothing to wait for. As soon as it is plugged in, you are ready to play.
It has 7 modes. The first 3 are the speeds - low, medium, and high. After that are the vibration patterns that pulse and escalate you to that happy place. You cannot go backwards through the modes. If you want to go back, you have to hit the off button and start again from the top or cycle through them all.
Cleaning this one is tricky. There are no instructions at all for it. I have bullets that have a very small type of o-ring where the wire meets the bullet, which can help keep moisture out. This does not have that. To be on the safe side, I have been using wipes or carefully spraying toy cleaner on it and wiping it down that way (paying special attention to the middle crevice to be sure nothing is stuck there). Of course, this should all be done when the toy is not attached to your computer. It comes in a plastic box with a molded tray to keep it all in one place. You can store your toy in there or, recycle it and just toss it in with the rest of your hard plastic toys. It is rather small so you could easily travel with it. Keep it in your laptop bag for quick access on the road.
My only gripe with this is that the cord could be a bit longer. It is good if you have a tower or laptop with the ports located at the front of the machine. If they are at the back like some (my) computers, it does not give you a whole lot of slack to work with. I found I had to re-position my chair and move myself around to get my body to meet the bullet. Once I got myself organized though, it was good. This annoyance gets the loss of a star.
Otherwise, it is a pretty great bullet. It has quite a bit of power but not terribly loud. Like most bullets, the vibrations are a bit on the buzzy side of the spectrum but not so much that you get numb within a minute flat. I can see this being ideal for the cam models out there or for those strapped to their desk for hours on end and need a quick release. It has a pretty targeted audience because you cannot just pick it up and use it anywhere you want, you have to have it plugged into a computer of some sort for use. However, the idea is a pretty cool one.

The idea is a great one for those that do a lot of play time by the computer. For me, it is just not practical. Cam girls - this is perfect for you.

Thanks for the review! I don't much like eggs (this looks eggy shaped to me!) and I don't wanna be attached to the laptop either! I thought this just charged via USB at first, not that you actually had to keep it hooked in. X.x

Very good review! Thanks for sharing this with us. Yeah, I'm still not sure about this toy. I don't really care for the idea of being attached to either my computer or playstation.
-
Great review! I was curious about this one, since I have a laptop the cord length and privacy wouldn't be an issue with me.

Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for the review Jobthingy!

What an interesting idea. I guess this'd be ideal for people who like watching porn online, but I don't think I'd want to be quite so tied to my computer. Great review, thanks

Thanks for the review. It is a novel concept.

Thanks for the review! This sounds great to me. I'm take my laptop everywhere with me and I hate how all my other bullet toys require batteries. This sounds like a great alternative.
