Anyone can ride the iRide--it will take a bit of imagination and experimentation to figure out how this works best for you, but isn't that the fun part? When I first tried it, the clitoral bump was way to hard and it literally killed my clitoris. I can't put a toy down and forget it, though and figured out my own alternatives for making this a ride to orgasm with....

Pros
--Versatile and fun. --Two motors/separate controls. --Powerful vibrations.
iRide is a versatile and uniquely designed hands free stimulator. The rounded base and larger size makes it ideal for rocking, placing in a chair and riding or using it on a bed by placing it strategically between your legs and letting the long shaft vibrate your erogenous areas.
Men can use this as an external or internal stimulator--there is no way this could ever 'slip inside' and get lost. Women can enjoy the iRide for clitoral, penetration or as an anal stimulator and couples can experiment with DP, positioning and dual stimulation for external and internal areas.
I have to admit, this product did not work so well fro me as a sexual toy--but was amazing when I put the clitoral bump on the back of my neck and the shaft on one side for a massager!! I am in love with the dual massage elements and my stress headaches are now all but gone.
The smooth, hard, base is made of ABS Plastic and has a material safety rating of 8. This plastic has no aroma, is easily cleanable and provides a firm stability and shape for the iRide. Plastic is non-porous and allergen free, making it a very versatile and popular material for adult products.
The top of the iRide, including the shaft and clitoral stimulation bump is made of phthalates-free TPR. TPR is a semi-porous material that rates a 7 on the material safety scale. This has a firm but soft and flexible texture that is perfect for penetration and for transferring vibrations throughout the material. Since it is semi-porous, it cannot be disinfected or sterilized and is not a material for shared toys. There was a slight rubbery aroma when taken out of the packaging that disappeared after washing the iRide.
This texture has a bit if drag and needs lube for friction reduction and to keep it from pulling too much on your sensitive skin. The hard base makes the TPR a lot firmer than with other toys. Some users may find the clitoral bump to be too hard and painful, while others will enjoy the firmness. The shaft is nicely flexible while still being firm enough for easy penetration.
A larger toy, the iRide measures in at 13 1/2" long, 6 1/4" wide and is 8" tall. There is a narrower area in the width under the shaft for easy knee placement. The clitoral bump is 3" down from the top and measures 2 1/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and is 1" deep.
The bump is gently rounded and oval in shape, like half an egg. The shaft is about 1/2" down from the end of the bump and is 4 1/2" long and has a diameter of 1" at the tip and 1 1/2" from the middle down. It has a slight curve at the tip for added stimulation. You may bend it down flat against the base and rock on it as well as using the bump.
The base is gently rounded for rocking back and forth. When used during oral sex, the rocking motion will stimulate the male and the vibrations and features will also add some excitement for the one performing oral. With the controls located near the top, it is easy to use and can be very stimulating for those who like a firmer surface.
This is not discreet in any way! I would not recommend traveling with it or leaving this out--since there is very obvious and reasonably large. I would suggest this as a home/bedroom only item since there are many other fun, less bulky toys for traveling.
There are two motors in the iRide, one for vibrations in the shaft and the other motor allows for vibrations in the clitoral bump. These motors have separate controls and you may use one, both or none of the vibrations offered. These controls are found about an inch down from the top, on the underside of the base. The right button controls the bump and the left controls the shaft.
The battery compartment is located near the back of the iRide on the underside of the base as well. Twist off the door, add 4 AA batteries, replace the door and you are ready to try out your new vibrations. This does use the batteries at a good clip if you have both motors going on high speed, but will last longer if you use only one motor or have them set at lower speeds.
The shaft has stronger vibrations near the tip, just under the slight curve. The noise is muffled while the shaft is inserted, but will be reasonably loud if used externally. The shaft vibration patterns are: 1.Steady low vibrations - 2.Steady medium vibrations - 3. Steady high vibrations.
The clitoral bump vibrates just under the center of the bump but the vibrations travel very well throughout the bump. These vibrations are very loud unless you are firmly sitting on the bump and might cause a wooden chair or hardwood floor to pick up the noise as well. This is not a toy for roommate living or 'need to be quiet' settings. The vibrations for the bump are the same as for the shaft but may be rated a bit stronger due to the shape and placement of the bump.
Since the iRide is not waterproof, you must take care in washing the base area of the product. I wipe it with a clean, soapy cloth and rinse in the same manner. I then spray it with a toy cleaner and wipe it off. This area will get scratched and marred if used for rocking on a smooth floor, wooden chair or other hard surface. This is to be expected.
The top is cleaned with a wet, soapy cloth and sink sprayer. I protect the base with a dry cloth and hold it on the opposite side of the sprayer. I then go back over this with a good toy cleaner to sanitize the soft TPR. Zero Tolerance makes a Foaming Masturbator Cleaner that is wonderful for this material!
I store this inside a cloth helmet bag to protect it from dust, other toys and cosmetic damage. It is stored in its own area inside a dresser drawer with my water based lubes and cleaners to prevent any damage to the material of the iRide or my other toys.
Hints: --Add a sheet of cardboard and a towel to my flooring before I use this toy to protect the base and the flooring material from scratches.
--Apply paraffin wax, ski wax or chain wax to the bottom of the base for more protection against scratches.
--If the clitoral bump is too hard for your clitoral area, cut a male masturbator in half and place it over the bump for a soft cushion.
--Use penis extenders, shaped masturbator pieces, etc. to change the feelings of the shaft and clitoral bump. You can add a variety of stimulation by adding texture, a soft vibrating cock ring, etc.
Follow-up commentaryI've started to like it more3 months after original review
I have started to like this more as I experiment with softer coverings for the clitoral bump. The material is so hard, it is painful when you sit and ride on it, however with the adapted masturbator sleeves, I have all but eliminated that issue. Now it is a matter of keeping them in place.....
