I had high hopes for using the remote controlled vibrating egg as a way to get off in public while out and about with my sweetheart. Sadly, it didn't work well that way. For me, it works best to use it solo for clitoral stimulation. It The egg can be worn internally as well. Physically, I think that this toy will work best for people who have vaginas and clitorises. Psychologically, I feel having the remote control for your partner's vibrator can be stimulating to anyone.

The egg itself is made of ABS plastic and has a velvety texture. I love it. I find that I don't enjoy toys as much that are "shiny smooth", but if you know that you don't like velvety coated plastic, this isn't the toy for you. There is a rubber gasket in between the two halves of the egg to make it waterproof. It sticks out a little bit and can be a bit uncomfortable when you insert the egg. There is a coated wire that comes out the end of the egg. I imagine it's an antenna, but I suppose it could also be used as a retrieval cord as well, as long as you don't pull too hard. I have no trouble just pushing the egg out, though. It's pretty easy to do. Sometimes I do it accidentally when I climax.

The remote control is made of plastic and brushed stainless steel.

I love the shape and size of the egg. It's fairly large at 3 inches long and roughly 1.25 inches in diameter.
It actually works from a good distance away. I'd say the farthest I actually went was about 25 feet, but the packaging says it works up to 20 meters (about 65.5 feet)away.

I had two problems with the design. First is the fact that the gasket that makes it waterproof protrudes slightly, making it a little uncomfortable upon insertion, and for extended wear if you're doing a lot of moving around. Second is that the vibrations, when wearing the egg internally, were too subtle for me to get off when out in public. It works fine as a clitoral vibrator when I'm at home by myself, or even with a partner. There aren't so many other things distracting me and the vibrations are focused on my clitoris.

I think this toy could be used by anyone from beginner to advanced depending on her preferences.

There are ten functions that this vibrator has:

2)medium
3)high
4)quick pulses
5)one long and four short pulses
6)Ascending and descending speed
7)ascending and descending pulses
8)pulses -all the same vibration level, but going faster and faster
9)steady medium vibration and then nine pulses and back to steady vibration
10)steady high vibration, and eight seconds of rapid pulses (I couldn't count how many, so I just timed it)

The long distance function seems to work well.
controls are very easy to use. I do wish you could get it to pick up where you left off, though. The fifth is my favorite and I still have to go through the others to get there. Maybe not really a bad thing, as I do love being teased...

It's only noisy when used externally. It can definitely be heard through the covers, but probably not through a closed door. I don't have any doors in my house and there's no one else listening anyway.

This toy is easy to take care of. Spray it down with toy cleaner and/or wash it with soap and water. I am sensitive to Triclosan which is common in toy cleaners and antibacterial soaps, so I usually use a regular soap such as Dr Bronner's Castile Soap (I love the lavender scent)after I've used a toy cleaner, and then rinse it really, really well.

The remote control shouldn't need too much cleaning. If it does, I'd say a toy wipe, Lysol wipe, or a paper towel sprayed with cleaner should do it. The remote control part is not in any way waterproof, so be careful not to get it very wet.

It's a cardboard package with a clear window in front so you can see what's inside: the egg and the remote control.
The back of the package tells you about the product a little bit, and that it includes batteries. That's a plus, although I'd say that the included batteries aren't as long lasting as name brand batteries.

I like this vibrator at home. Out in public, I'm distracted by... grapes, a car driving by, the price of watermelon...
If I or my partner is focusing this on my clit at home, It can definitely get me off. In public, it's cool because S/he has control of the settings, but none of them have actually gotten me off in public. As it turns out, that's a good thing. When I bought this vibrator, I forgot how messy/embarrassing it would be since I'm a squirter.
