This toy is a great idea for those hot summer nights spent under the stars with a loved one, as long as you have a privacy fence, and nobody else living with you. Think of an egg, half of which is made of ice. Now, add a vibrator. This is exactly what you are getting: a vibrating ice cube, or Popsicle if you will.

The most time-consuming part of using the Touché Ice is that you have to take the time to prepare it. This can be circumvented, though. Just find a flat spot in your freezer that you can put it until solid, and then move it to a place where only you will find it. I personally don't worry about others seeing it in my freezer, but the people in there are aware of the fact I have it and use toys on a regular basis.

You can use it anywhere you like on your partner, with a little care taken for time spent on genitals, or if you are brave and strong of heart, you can even use it on yourself. Use it on nipples to make them hard, to trail along the stomach for a unique feeling, on the penis or clitoris for a quick chill, or even for an ice massage on the back. If you want, you can even use the heat of your breath or tongue to warm your partner before and after using it on them for an alternating sensation. Anyone will be able to use this, from beginners to the most advanced users. This is a must have for every toy collection.

Made out of 100% food-grade silicone, there is no smell or taste to this toy. It is soft to the touch, with a smooth matte texture which makes it feel silky. The thicker parts of it are a little bit more firm, but they still have give when you apply pressure to them. Once you freeze it, the ice (obviously) is hard and wet. It may initially try to stick to warm skin like that of the labia, but as long as you take the time to get to another room before using, you will be fine.

While it is possible to use it on yourself, it takes either a strong love of ice, or a great deal of commitment to doing it yourself.

The ice can cause a numb feeling if used too long on one area. To prevent this, just keep moving it, or vary it by also using a nice warm kiss or tongue. There are some people who have a severe reaction to ice, which can cause a burning sensation or a bone-penetrating pain. If this happens, either switch who it is being used on, or just eat the ice.

The Touché Ice is a frozen egg vibrator that comes in 3 parts. One part is the vibrator, another is the base where you put the water, and the last is the grip section. The grip section makes up the top half of the egg, while the bottom half is made by filling the base with water and putting in the freezer with the top half on. It can be a bit tricky to get it to freeze correctly, especially if either your floors or the shelves in the freezer do not sit level. I have found this to be the biggest problem with it, as it take me multiple tries to get it to freeze in a way that is usable.

Once it is frozen, the ice section is about 1 1/2" long and 1 1/2" in diameter (5" circumference). The silicone portion is 2" long, giving the toy an overall length of 3 1/2" without the vibrator bullet. The bullet is 2" long and 1/2" in diameter, with almost 1/2" that sticks out of the top.

The first thing you need to do with this toy is make sure the vibrator is not in it, wash it, and go ahead and fill the silicone base with water. There is a section which sticks out on the bottom side of the top section. Press this in and it will push the vibrator up, allowing you to grab it and remove. I found that it helps to twist at the same time, so that it moves faster. Now that the vibrator is out, place the top half on, and find a flat and level spot in your freezer to place it. There is a little lip on the bottom where the top portion is meant to rest. You should try to keep the water level below this, but not too much. If you use too much water, you will find that there will be some that will overflow when you place the top correctly. Also, remember that as water freezes, it expands. If you use too much, you will have a larger bottom which will freeze funny. If you have too little, it will end up with an uncomfortable gap, which can hurt.

Once you have it frozen, you are ready to use. Just gently pull the silicone bottom away from the ice using the tab, and then you can pull the rest away easily. The vibrator comes with the batteries already inside. Just remove the piece of paper and you are ready to go. Insert the vibrator into the top of the silicone, and have fun.

The vibrator has a simple push-button control which will cycle through all 3 strengths, 4 vibration patterns, and then back through the 3 strengths, before turning off. The vibrations are located mostly about 1/2" down from where the ice meets the silicone. While they do carry down into the ice itself, it is diminished by the time they get there. The vibrator is 100% waterproof, and one of the best I have ever gotten with a toy. It is quiet enough that I can turn it on and my boyfriend doesn't even notice that I have it on under the blankets.

The only things you have to worry about with this are the fact that ice can cause genitals to become a bit numb with extended use, it is easy for it to freeze wrong, and the time that it takes to prepare it for use.

I do not see much need for more than just soap and water to clean it, but if you feel that the top portion needs something more, you can use your dishwasher. You can also boil it in water, or use bleach water on it if you so decide. The bottom portion will not need much extra cleaning, but over time it may start to yellow a little. If this happens, just let it soak in bleach water for 30 minutes and wash thoroughly with soap after.

You have a few options for storage. I personally keep mine in the freezer ready to use, but you can also keep the bullet in it and store it in a drawer. If you are going to keep it in the freezer, make sure that you put the bullet in a place where you can find it when the time comes. I have had to buy a second one just to replace the vibrator because I lost the one from my original.

If you decide to keep them in your toy collection, I like to use a toy bag to keep everything together. It also keeps the dust to a minimum, as well as keeping it from coming into contact with other types of toys which may damage the silicone.

Lubes are not necessary with it, as the melting ice will provide you with all of the glide that you need for it. Should you for some reason decide that you do need lube, you can use either water- or oil-based.
