Confession: I may be a Lelo addict. With soft silicone and luxe styling, it's a beautiful toy. My Lelo arrived in the usual high-end packaging. While most of my other Lelo products have arrived in a black box, this one came in a white box with heavy cardboard with a linen finish. Upon opening the box, I found the Smart Wand nestled snugly inside along with the charger, the manual, and the standard-issue gold Lelo pin.

I chose the black Smart Wand, but you can also get this in your choice of plum or ivory. The toy measures in at 8.5" long, 2.25" in diameter, and weighs about a pound. The combination of silicone and gold-tone (non-porous) plastic provides a look of pure luxury.

Interestingly, the toy looks a lot like the Hitachi wand. However, Lelo has made some fantastic improvements. For starters, the Lelo is cordless and rechargeable. I love anything that is rechargeable! And, to be completely honest, I have never used a toy that had to be plugged in to the wall while I used it. So, while I have always wanted to try the classic Hitachi, the cord made it less attractive. But, that is not the case with the Lelo Smart Wand!

The Smart Wand is billed as a full-body massager. The toy has eight settings: the first setting is a continuous vibration and seven pulse patterns. There are three buttons: a plus sign, a closed parenthesis (), and a minus sign. By pressing the plus sign repeatedly or just holding it down, you can cycle up through the intensity levels of continuous vibration.

As a massager, it is really nice. It can get between the shoulder blades incredibly well. Because the massager is made from silicone, you must only use oil-based or water-based lubricants for massages. Silicone-based lubricants need to be avoided to prevent degrading the product.

As a personal massager (a.k.a. a vibrator) this product rocks! I love how quiet it is and how fantastic the vibrations are. For me, this is a no-fail way to reach orgasm in a matter of seconds with sufficient foreplay and a few short minutes without it. Adding to the excitement of the toy is the fact that it can be used almost anywhere since it is completely waterproof! Lelo=Love

I guess I am a big fat Lelo fan, because I just seem to love all of their products. The Smart Wand has been a fantastic addition to my toy box and it is among the first items that I reach for. I don't use it for much more than clitoral stimulation, but the results are amazing. Though I use it as an intimate toy most often, it works very well as a traditional massager.
