I tap, tap, tap...
It is very nice, simple, classic vibrator. It has a lot of good qualities to it; but prepare to be very careful when using this vibrator, as it does not have the regular twist-cap speed control, and tap-cap control top can be switched off very, very easily.

Tap-cap speed control technology turns this toy OFF and ON as it pleases
iTap is the classic vibrator with a twist. Or should I say without? The main difference from other classic vibrators of this type is that iTap does not have your regular twist-cap to control the speed; instead it uses the tap-cap technology. Basically, in order to change the vibration speed or pattern you just tap the cap with you finger.
I was extremely disappointed with this toy's performance. The touch-cap or tap-cap is extremely sensitive and just the slightest touch of your finger, a blanket, or clothing can trigger a speed change and turn the toy off. That can be extremely frustrating.
The toy is differently good for beginners; it is slim and has no texture to it, so it will not do much for vaginal stimulation if you are an experienced toy user. I believe this toy is best used clitorally with another toy for insertion, like a realistic dildo. I actually use it for clitoral stimulation 99% of the time.
iTap is a plastic vibe with the velvety coating. It feels very nice and I like the leathery feel a lot. I read that this type of coating can handle any type of lubrication, and is supposed to be non-porous, but I would personally recommend using water-based lube only. I have used silicone lube on the toy before and my white iTap turned yellowish-ivory color, while the plastic cap that has no coating stayed white. I normally clean mine with just antibacterial soap and water.
It came in a white rectangular box with the picture of the vibrator on it, but with no info whatsoever on how to use or clean the toy, or what lubes it would be compatible with. I did not keep the box, and I store mine in a Ziploc bag because, as I said earlier, this velvety coating seems to suck in dyes and colors from the lubes. I would suggest keeping it in a separate bag to protect it from touching other toys. You also have to take the batteries out for storage - since this toy is equipped with sensitive and unreliable tap-cap, it can turn on by itself if the batteries are left inside.

Experience
I actually purchased this vibe when I was still new to sex toys in general, and the only things I used were "classic vibrators". My old vibe just died on me during the most important moment - so I got very angry and drove to the nearest adult toy store at 2 am; I just asked cashier to recommend something hard plastic, simple, classic, and inexpensive, and she suggested iTap.
I loved using it at first. It was kind of cool how you can switch speeds with just the touch of a fingertip, but then it became a major problem. I tried to use it by myself and with the partner, but the slightest touch (and I believe even a slight wind) would switch the vibration setting or turn the toy off. That was the main deal breaker for me. Even though I liked its simplicity and velvety texture feel, I just could not forgive this vibe for betraying me so much by turning off and ruining my pleasure.
