The White Heat has a silicone body and all-over vibration meant to stimulate the G-Spot, the clitoris, and (for the more adventurous) the anus. It is perfect for the novice masturbator trying to discover what her body likes or for the person who doesn't like strong stimulation. I bought this product on sale from EF, so the price was a steal. Another plus is that it lacks the aggressive appearance of standard jackrabbits. Instead, it looks like something straight out of a 1970s sci-fi film.

This is a good toy for personal masturbation and partner play, but take the proper precautions. This is a silicone toy, and it needs thorough cleaning before sharing. It is also waterproof!

The clitoral vibrator is not long enough to reach the clit, so I like to use a stronger vibrator with the toy. This is a manageable feat because the White Heat only requires one hand.

Due to the silicone, this toy arrives with a very strong odor. Burning rubber and a latex factory come to mind. I found that washing it and spraying it with toy cleaner dulled this scent.

The body is squishy but firm, and it has a lot of give in the shaft for your bending pleasure. This is a great feature when you are standing in the shower.

It is a smooth texture, which is moderately boring in my opinion, but that is why I pair it with other titillating toys from my collection. If you want something to rock your world with excitement and adventure, this may not be the toy for you. There are two ribs, and they are on the base of each bulb. I am guessing they are there for aesthetic reasons, but they will do nothing for your body.

The design of the toy makes me laugh because it reminds me of a white ANDROID or a tree from Dr. Seuss. The shape is self-explanatory for how it is meant to be used, but it didn’t really work as it should. I do find that it works better if I lie on my back, insert the toy, and push my pelvis downward. This holds the toy firmly against the pubic bone, and while using a separate clitoral stimulator, it makes an excellent experience.

I feel like the size could have been longer, and I have a shallow cervix. I think this is definitely a beginner’s toy, but it's not for the beginner who doesn’t know how to hide things. As I have previously said, the toy has an obvious design. If you don’t want your mother, brother, or kid finding it, don’t put it in an obvious place. It is, however, small enough to be placed in a pocket on a suitcase or in the bottom of a medium to large pocketbook.

The vibrations are located throughout the body. This is the best function of the entire toy. What is not so great is that the full-body vibration is the best function. The White Heat is literally about as exciting as going to the post office. Not only is it a chore, but you have to wait to get what you want no matter what time of day it is.

The controller is easy to use; it is a dial on the end of the base. This is actually my second White Heat; I had to return the first because the dial was broken. I would like to take this time to report that if you return a product for an exchange with EF, you will not be disappointed. I received the new White Heat within days of it shipping out.

A great thing about silicone is that the vibration has nothing to play off for noise. It makes barely any noise in comparison to other vibrating toys.

It is waterproof, and due to the protective design, it can be submerged more effectively than other waterproof toys. I have not taken this toy in the bath, but I will include my findings in a follow-up review.

Silicone is a little more labor-intensive to clean, but it isn’t hard enough to take away from enjoying the toy. I found that a mild soap with warm water works initially, and then I follow that with antibacterial toy-cleaning spray. The silicone isn’t porous, so you need to have a paper towel on hand to wipe it off. After cleaning, I store it in my toy drawer.

Be sure to pay attention to the ingredients on the lube. Some lubricants are not silicone safe. Silicone lubricant isn’t hard to find and can be bought anywhere lube is sold.
