I love Melody, have no Rhythm and am not really in Utopia
The Utopia is a lightly textured, plush silicone rabbit style vibe with a velvety soft feel to it that pampers the skin. It's powerful dual motors provide excellent vibration and rotation that, since it's waterproof, can be enjoyed even in the shower.

Pros
Super soft, velvety, plush silicone, powerful motors, waterproof.
Cons
Shaft a bit long.
I'm a sucker for the Couture Collection stuff from Cal Ex. I can't help myself. I even traded an Njoy Funwand for this one and the Rhythm. I'm in love with the squishy, pillowy, marshmallowy silicone.
Unfortunately, while I love my Sublime (which is a regular, non rabbit, large couture collection vibe) and the rabbit style Melody and totally dig the petite couture pieces I have, too, I'm not super fond of either the Rhythm I last reviewed or this one, the Utopia. Not because they're lower quality or worse toys than the others but because they don't fit my anatomy. The shafts are just too long and I can't quite enjoy the clitoral stimulation like I want to.
That aside, though? If you like a longer shaft? These are freaking awesome.
Let's start with the silicone. It passed the flame test -- which means it held up to a trial by fire. True silicone won't melt at temps under 600 degrees so holding a match to a silicone toy, while it will leave removable soot marks, won't melt or damage it. The Utopia came out looking just like when I started so it's real silicone. It's a satin silicone, not quite matte like Fun Factory toys, not quite glossy like Tantus, so it provides a medium amount of drag and tug against the skin -- but is also smooth, requiring little lube. And? Did I mention? It's incredibly, crazily squishy and plush, unlike solid silicone toys. (This one obviously isn't solid cuz it's got motors inside it)
So the silicone is gripable and squeezable and really excellent for clenching around when it comes to the shaft part -- yet also firm enough in the clit stimulator to give a bit of pressure. And the ears? They're so soft and velvety it's amazing.
This is a dual stimulator/rabbit vibe so you've got the shaft, which is 5.5 inches insertable and has a slight, swoopy texture along it's vertical length. You also have the rabbit shapped clitoral stimulator, with it's clit nudging bunny nose and velvety ears. The shaft is 1 5/8 inches in diameter so it's quite girthy but the plushness and slightly pointed tip make it easy to insert.
The shaft rotates and the Couture Collection vibes have some of the best rotations I've seen to date. Watching it in motion, it actually looks kind of like someone doing the c'mere motion with their finger. It's the perfect g-spot motion, if you ask me. And it is very, very stimulating against the g-spot. Rotation is controlled with a push button on the light up control pad; one push for slow, two for medium, three for fast, four stops the rotation.
The shaft doesn't vibrate nor does it have fancy beads but I don't think it really needs them.
The clitoral stimulator, on the other hand, vibrates like crazy. It, too, is controlled by a push button, a separate one on the control pad, and with the first press, which starts you at low vibrations, you can literally see the ears shimmying. The Utopia has three steady levels of vibration and four patterns. Each press of the button scrolls thru them, a final press stops them.
The Utopia also has a dedicated on/off button which makes it easy to turn your vibe off in a hurry if you need to!
I noticed very little decrease in power when using both vibration and rotation at the same time and could clench fairly tightly without the rotation having any issues. As for sound, this is one of the quietest dual stimulators I've ever heard. All the Couture Collection is amazingly quiet, in fact.
Because this is silicone -- and waterproof! -- you can wash it with soap and water, toy wipes, spray cleaner or sanitize it with a bleach solution. No boiling or dishwashing, though, or you could mess up the motor. Use only water based lube unless you patch test!
The Utopia runs on 3 AA batteries that insert into a harness of sorts typical of rabbit style vibes. The battery compartment has a screw on cover and an o-ring to keep water out. Packaging is a simple, fairly discreet cardboard box with no nude women on it making orgasm faces so my only complaint is that it's twice the size it needs to be.

Experience
I really, really wish this vibe had worked better for me, length wise, since it's slight texture, squishyness, and velvety rabbit are all nearly perfect. My body is weird, though, so I think most folks would really enjoy this one, particularly rabbit fans who don't have this issue.
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I try to be fair to every toy I get to review. I do. And the Utopia is a well made, strong, quiet vibrator that may be the cat's meow to someone else. For me, however, it's just too long in the shaft to ever, ever work effectively.
One thing about the couture vibes, however...
The silicone, despite being so amazingly squishy, holds up like a dream and actually collects less lint and dust than a lot of other silicone.
Big win there!
