Use

Meant to enhance a night out with your lover, or even by yourself, this vibrating c-string will keep teasing you all night long. In case you're wondering what exactly a c-string is, let me give you a quick rundown. Created to give you an even more discreet undergarment option than a thong, c-strings are meant to cover you in the front and sort of nestle themselves into your cracks which is supposed to hold it in place; providing coverage but also not being noticeable.

You can easily use it for a night out by yourself to spice up the beginning of a solo session, or with a partner to keep things on edge before having more fun in the privacy of your own home. A louder restaurant, bar, or even a club would be ideal places to wear this out to.

Material / Texture

The toy itself is made of a hard, smooth plastic. It's got no grip to it and doesn't really add much, nor is it meant to. Covering that plastic, however, is a fabric sheath. It's also soft and smooth to the touch, similar to a pair of nice panties. The luxurious fabric really adds a delightful overtone to the whole package.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is designed to resemble most c-strings you may find on the market if you go searching. The arm does have a hinge to provide some range of movement to accommodate multiple sizes, but I feel nervous stretching it past the 10" range. As it sits right out of the box, it sort of defaults to about 4 or so inches between the front end and the back end. The hinge does give some nice resistance as you spread the two halves apart, which helps it to feel more secure as you're wearing it.

It should be worn with the wider 3" end in the front, and the slimmer end nestled in the crack of your rear end. I find it helps to do sort of a half squat to get it into place initially, and then hold it into place as you stand back up letting things settle for a second. If you feel as though you'd like some extra stimulation, you can spread your vaginal lips some and let it nestle a little further against your clitoris.

For most women, this will probably be about as comfortable as something like this can be. If you normally wear thongs, it shouldn't take you too long to get used to wearing it. For those who normally prefer full coverage underwear, it may take a little longer if you ever get used to it at all. Larger women may have difficulty getting it to seat comfortably, but most women should be able to wear it with minimal issues. In the event that you're feeling less than confident it will stay in place, you can easily wear a pair of underwear over it as well.

If for some reason you do leave it laying out and about, you're going to have a hard time passing it off as something innocent. While the fabric does initially mask that it's a vibrator you may still have a hard time explaining it, even as just a pair of underwear.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrating c-string features 10 different vibration settings, all controlled by the included remote control. The remote is powered by a single A23 battery, and the main unit by 2 AAA batteries. To get everything cranking, you'll obviously have to install batteries. The remote is pretty straight forward, but the main unit you have to peel back the fabric cover to reveal the battery door on the outside of the wedge.

Pressing the 'on' button lights up the remote, and you can now cycle through all 10 settings with the arrows directly below the on/off button. The first 3 are solid vibrations going low, medium, and high. #4 is a steady pulse, 5 is an up an up and down, 6 is a few quick pulses followed by a few longer pulses, 7 is a series of quicker pulses followed by respectively longer pulses, 8 is a few quick pulses followed by almost a drum roll, 9 bounces between high and low in a rhythmic pattern, and 10 is one long vibration followed by a series of shorter bursts. You can cycle up and then down, but once you hit 10 you're there until you either turn it off or click back down. Once you turn it off it just resets and starts you from the beginning setting.

The vibrations themselves are more on the buzzier end, more felt on the surface of the skin rather than deeper into the muscle. The box indicates that there are two vibrating points in the main wedge, but the little bulb at the narrow end of the arm seems to vibrate too. Take care to keep it from extremely wet situations. The fabric cover should be able to handle most of what a vagina may be able to throw at it, but still try to keep it from being thoroughly soaked if you can.

The whole setup is pretty straightforward to figure out and use. The remote is small enough to easily be snuck away in almost any purse or pocket. Overall noise level isn't terrible for what it is, but will definitely be noticeable in quieter situations. Sitting on the sofa next to me, it can be heard down the hall. Picked up and held in my hand quiets it to be heard in the same room. Wearing it under clothing will muffle it further, but if you're sitting on a hard surface the sound may be intensified.

While the vibrations probably aren't going to finish the job, it will keep going for quite a while. In addition to the time spent using the c-string, it was also on for a full 50 minutes without a noticeable drop in power. The remote also has a pretty decent range to it, you'll easily be able to control it from across a crowded room.

Care and Maintenance

While the box wasn't overly forthcoming with instructions, care and maintenance should still be pretty simple. Definitely avoid submerging the main toy or the remote, instead use a toy cleaning cloth or a damp washcloth with soap on it. The fabric is easily removed via a zipper on the narrow end, and can be hand washed and air dried, or if you're feeling adventurous you can wash it on gentle with your other delicates and let it air dry. You probably shouldn't end up needing lube with it, but if you do for whatever reason you'll be safe with a water or silicone based lubricant. Just be aware that some lubes may stain the fabric, even if it is black.

Packaging

The box isn't anything special, or anything you need to worry about keeping. It's covered with pictures of the product inside and various advertisements about it in a number of different languages. Everything inside comes nestled in a blister pack type tray.

Experience

I always love trying new things, and this caught my eye because it just seemed so out there. I was surprised at how comfortable everything ended up being, although I admit I wasn't as adventurous with everything as I could have been. My husband and I don't tend to go to many loud places like a bar by ourselves, so I wore it at home with him controlling it a few times and I'm extra lame and wore it under a pair of leggings with underwear. It was actually a lot of fun to be doing housework and have my panties suddenly start vibrating. I remember him laughing along with me for a few minutes while I first got everything situated, and distinctly remember telling him that it really tickled my butt once it did start vibrating and he asked how it was going.

I, personally, had some issues with getting everything to work consistently when I first got it. In the long run, a totally fresh set of batteries in everything seemed to do the trick. That being said, I think the only thing I really don't personally like about this is feeling like I have to do laundry every time I use it. Wiping down a toy isn't really a big deal, but sometimes I can get kind of juicy and that obviously requires being actually washed between uses. That's about the only thing I'm not a fan of besides the remote battery being a bit of a pain to track down. It isn't the quietest thing ever, but it's quieter than the last toy like this I tried. It has great range and decent power. Overall a pretty fun couple's toy.
