I ordered this toy because my wife and I had never had a vibrating egg before and we were curious about using one. Doc Johnson's Lucid Dream no. 5 vibrating egg was definitely a great choice. The vibrations are not earth shattering, but strong enough to give a good buzz. Because of the egg design, vibrations are not focused on one specific spot. Instead of delivering all of its power to a small point for clitoral or g spot stimulation, the egg vibrates all over making this a great warm up toy or for those who are sensitive to stronger vibrations. We inserted the egg into my wife's vagina and combined it with anal beads for extra stimulation. The egg vibrated through to the beads and were very pleasurable. In the end, a stronger more focused vibrator will be needed by most to finish the job, but this toy sure does make getting there a lot of fun!

Since my wife and I are totally monogamous, we are comfortable with ordering a jelly toy. Since the vibrating end of this toy is made from a jelly material it cannot be sterilized by boiling so if this is a concern for you, either use a condom or by a silicone toy. The jelly was actually felt great to the touch. I am not sure if it is the jelly or the design of the vibrator, but this thing was virtually silent. Placed inside the vagina at full speed, I could barely here it laying right beside it and could not hear it from across the room.

The design for this toy is typical for a vibrating egg. There is a remote connected to a vibrating bullet encased in jelly in the shape of an egg. The cord is thin so I would not recommend anal use as the wire could snap and you would have to make a rather embarrassing trip to the emergency room of our local hospital. The egg is the perfect size for vaginal insertion, but a little on the large size for clitoral play. The egg is 1.5" in diameter and 2.5" long. It may be a little large for a beginner but just right for the seasoned player.

This vibrating egg has four speeds. It turns on by pressing the up button and turns off by pressing the down button after turning it down to the lowest speed. There are no pulses or differences in the vibrations except for speed. The lower speeds are barely noticeable. The higher speeds are nice for building up to climax but will probably not take you over the top.

As mentioned earlier, this toy is made from jelly and cannot be completely sterilized; therefore, it should not be shared with others. It cannot be boiled but should be washed with water and a mild soap. It is compatible with water based and silicone based lubes.

This toy is great for building arousal up to the point where more is required. It is not wireless so taking it out in public might be difficult. We used it around the house and it made her ready to go when the time came.
