G-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued

Hits Some Nice Notes

Altogether, this is a really great toy; it provides strong vibrations on little batteries, and it's nigh silent. A great alternative to small, thin g-spot toys, the Symphony is a big thick g-spot vibe that will be sure to please the masses!
Published:
Pros
The Symphony has great vibrational options, works well as a g-spot vibrator, large girth.
Cons
Can be too big for some, g-spot positioning might not fit all bodies, vibrations are too localized.

Use

The Siena Symphony, made by Mantric, is a G-spot vibe, with a raised area meant for clitoral stimulation. It works well, solo or with a partner, because its shape is conducive to someone holding it or solo play--I take issue with many toys for being too difficult to grip during solo fun, but this line doesn't present a problem at all.

The Symphony can also be used for clitoral stimulation alone, as the tip is rounded and does not present a difficult or painful surface for nonpenetrative play.

This toy is not entirely safe for anal usage; it does have a flare where the clitoral nub is, so if you do not penetrate further than that flare, there should not be an issue, though with any anally used toy caution is key and discretion should be used.

The Symphony is also completely waterproof, once the battery cap is closed, so you can take it with you in your pool, hot tub, or bathtub (though if you're using it in the shower, please be careful as penetration can be very tricksy standing up! During my testing in the shower, I did not notice anything that would indicate failures in design. To be certain it wouldn't leak, since I don't have a bathtub or pool, I submerged it in a full sink and left it there for twenty minutes. When I came back, I hit the buttons, and it worked just fine, without me removing it from the water. I also did not notice any decrease in the vibrational power underwater, which is important for toys that I use in water.

Material / Texture

The Siena Symphony is made of pure silicone, which means that it's smooth but matte, not as slick as plastic. It was also completely odorless even before cleaning, which is a big bonus for people who are scentsitive. It's firm, but not as hard as plastic. The toy itself is completely solid; the tip is a little mobile, but if you're expecting a toy that will have any kind of flexibility, this is definitely not it.

There are some slight lines, and small raised areas, but nothing that really detracts from the smooth appearance, nor did I feel them at all during usage.

The Symphony takes 4 AAA batteries, so make sure you have some on stock when you pick it up, because you'll definitely want to take it for a test drive as soon as you get it.

I find that with most matte-style toys, I need to use more lubricant than usual because of the sticking surface of the silicone, and this toy is no exception. Although it doesn't completely eat up lubricant, it left me a little drier than I was comfortable with, especially considering the girth of this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

To be sure, this is not the best toy for a complete beginner; it's very girthy, with a circumference of 5 1/4" and a diameter of 1 5/8". Lengthwise, it is easy to handle, with an insertable length of 4 inches.

However, Symphony is very quiet for a toy with that much power behind it; it's nearly silent, which is great for people in cramped quarters.

The closest descriptor I could come up with for shape is that it's almost like a sickle, a short handle and then a gentle curve (but nowhere near as pointy as a real sickle!).

Below the clitoral nub is the power/vibration controls. It features two buttons just above the screw cap which indicate intensity/speed when pushed. Either button will cycle you through the vibration patterns, and to stop the vibrations, just cycle all the way back to the end. A nice feature is that the vibration strengths are color coded--the small light indicates green, orange, or red, depending on speed.

There is definitely a vibration for everyone with this toy, it ranges from solid vibration patterns, to a roller-coaster up and down style, to pulsing beats of varying speeds and strengths. It offers versatility that will please even the pickiest partner.

To insert or remove batteries, you have to unscrew the watertight cap below the power buttons, but you have to be careful not to over or under screw it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls on Symphony are super easy to use; you can get to any of the ten vibration speeds with either of the buttons. Batteries were easy to insert--though I did have to pop them out a few times because it was a little difficult to see the indicators of which way they were meant to go in.

My only qualm with this toy is that the vibrations emanate from the tip of the toy, rather than the area around the clitoral stimulation. Sadly, this means that if you require clitoral stimulation to orgasm, this is probably not going to satiate your needs. Even if the vibrator is on its highest setting, the vibrations that can be felt on the clitoral attachment are weak; like the toy is on its lowest setting.

However, there are a variety of ways to get around the vibration issue, including using the toy to bump against your clit and stimulating yourself that way.

I feel the need to repeat here that this toy is *really thick*. Because of that, if you aren't used to large toys, you might need to warm up and relax before using this toy, and definitely lube up. I was unable to use this toy without a lot of foreplay, nor was I able to use it without a lot of lube. For me, the girth was a bit of a distraction, because I'm used to very thin toys, but as I got into it, the girth was a nice addition.

The g-spot end of the toy is very rigid, and as such when the toy was thrust, it hit my G-spot nicely. With some G-spot toys, the flexibility detracts because the perfect hit moves around, but this toy was exactly the opposite. It was exceptionally nice, because the toy has a steep curve, so we were able to play around and find the perfect spot. For my body, the toy was great for g-spot stimulation, though I know everyone's body is different. However, because the g-spot tip is long, it will be accessible for many body types,

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is a very safe, resilient toy, because of its safe properties. It's medical grade silicone, non-porous, latex-free, hypoallergenic and sterilizible.

Any kind of lubricant can be used with the Symphony except silicone based lubes--that can degrade or even destroy the material. Water based lubes are probably your best bet, because they're compatible for internal use and with silicone.

Because the Symphony is waterproof, it can be sumberged for thorough cleaning--though I don't recommend throwing it in the dishwasher, the high heat might do nasty things to it; so soap and water will probably suffice just fine. There are no real issues with washing this toy, there are no crevices that are difficult to clean out, and as long as the cap is secured, there will be no damage done to the toy with routine cleaning.

As for storage, the original box will be fine if you don't need to be subtle about it. The toy comes in a cute box, with a foam cutout on the inside in which the toy sits. The box itself isn't exceptionally bulky, though if you're space-consious, you can use a toybox for storage. However, if you store it with other toys, make sure it is not against another silicone toy, as that, too, can be harmful to both toys.
