Highly entertaining, but highly noisy!
This is a great addition to my collection of bullets. The G-Spot bullet is incredibly loud but the other is relatively discreet. I gave an overall bee rating of four because of the G-Spot bullet, but the smaller bullet would be considered a two. The bullets can be used either one at a time or with both. Between the two there are 100 combinations of patterns. The Hi-Tech bullet collection definitely won't leave you bored and you can easily have a different experience each time you use them.

Pros
Lots of options for pattern combinations, intense vibrations
Cons
G-spot bullet is extremely noisy, no designated on/off button
When I first got my Hi-Tech bullets I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the packaging. It's actually pretty cheap looking and kind of cheesy. If I saw this toy in a store I probably wouldn't have purchased it. It's a very basic pink cardboard box with not much information on it at all. On the back it does show you all the different bullets in the collection with a check mark under which ones you have. This set has a larger one with a curved tip for G-Spot stimulation and then a smaller regular bullet. Other than that there's really not much to the packaging. Luckily packaging isn't everything and you can't judge a toy by its box.
Both the bullets and the power pack are a translucent purple made from hard plastic with a velvety finish. They're very soft and smooth but both bullets have a seam down the middle. This really isn't noticeable much on the smaller bullet but the G-Spot bullet's seam is pretty pronounced. You can't feel it while using it but it does take a bit of extra time to clean it. The cords on the bullets are pretty short at only 23 inches. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. The good thing with shorter cords is that I don't find they tangle as easily as longer cords do when in my drawer. Downside is that sometimes I wish I had a bit more length to work with, and I find myself pulling and unplugging the bullet by accident. The cord is also made out of a stiffer plastic covering then I'm used to with my toys. It seems pretty sturdy but it is actually a bit uncomfortable when you use the G-Spot bullet, it kind of pokes and can even pinch. This is mainly because the G-Spot bullet's cord comes from the lower side of the bullet rather than from the bottom of it like a regular bullet.
The power pack takes 4 AAA batteries and it has a little ribbon to ensure that you can easily take the batteries out. The cover of the battery pack is very loose, take care with this around water as it's not waterproof in the slightest and water could easily get into the power pack. There are two sets of buttons on the front of the power pack each with an up and down arrow. There's no dedicated on/off button so you have to cycle through to turn the bullets off. The up and down arrows are nicer than just a single button to cycle through though, as you can go back down if you skip past the one you like. Above the buttons is the control panel which has lights to show you which setting you are on for each bullet, another nice feature as if you know which one works best, you can easily find it. On the back of the power pack there's a numbered list that names the different vibration patterns.
There are 10 functions for each bullet so you could combine the two for up to 100 different combinations. There's only one steady vibration with all the rest being varying patterns of pulsation and escalation. The steady vibration is definitely intense and a high speed. There's actually not much low vibrations with these bullets at all. Some of the patterns have low vibrations in them, but none are entirely made up of low or soft vibrations. If you're a power queen this is awesome, but if you like subtle or soft vibrations, look elsewhere.
Both bullets can be used without a drop in intensity from the other. If you start them both at the same time the smaller one seems to move on faster so the patterns are never really completely in sync with each other. After using this bullet a few times the batteries were starting to wear down and you can hear a difference in the sound of the bullets, kind of starting to whine on certain settings. I didn't notice too much of a drop in intensity though, so you do have fair warning before you'll need to change batteries. That helps to avoid sudden frustration with a toy that just stops working mid-use.
The bullets are easily cleaned with some mild soap and warm water, and since the bullets themselves are waterproof you can just unplug them to wash them. They can't be sterilized though, so either use condoms or don't share between partners. While they are connected to a cord I wouldn't recommend them for anal use as there is no flared base. As sturdy as the cord appears I wouldn't trust it not to come loose unexpectedly. They are great for external anus stimulation though.

Experience
The patterns are created to give you an overall experience while using the bullets rather than just being pulsation on one, escalation on another. Most of the levels are a combination of escalations and pulsations and varying intensities and speeds. They are named after either the experience that they were designed to give or on some of them what they do.
1. Foreplay- pulsations starting at a low speed and then working their way up to a faster speed and then to a steady vibration before going back to pulsations.
2. Tease -more pulsations but with a higher steady vibration before going back to pulsations
3. Arouse -fast paced pulsations followed by a steady vibration on medium and then high before going back to pulsations.
4. Zoom- an escalation from low up to high
5. Wave- roller coaster pattern going from high to low to high
6. Pulsation- pulsations at a steady pace
7. Vibration- very fast fluttering pulsating vibrations followed by a long steady vibe and then back to the fluttery pulsations
8. Random - randomly chooses a setting to go on (from what I can tell)
9. Racer- fast steady vibrations (super loud!)
10. Climax- fast steady coupled with really fast fluttering pulsations
It definitely keeps things interesting; you won't find yourself quickly bored with these bullets. With the different combinations you could easily have a new experience each time you use the Hi-Tech bullets. While the vibrations are intense they are also coupled by a very loud buzz, especially with the G-Spot bullet. The smaller one isn't that bad but the G-Spot bullet can be quite distracting. This could easily be heard through a closed door and it sounds similar to my husband's electric hair clippers. It's rather obnoxious and annoying unless you have some loud music or TV on. It's slightly muffled if you use it as a G-Spotting vibe, but not much. The only other way I could see this being discreet is if maybe, possibly everyone thought I was just shaving my head in my room...but that's not likely.
The Hi-Tech bullet's power pack can also be used with other bullets as long as they have the same type of jack. The bullets from my Passion Bullets from California Exotics fit in just fine and these are almost completely silent even when used with this power pack. It allows me to experience the different patterns of the Hi-Tech bullets without the obnoxious sound. Only downside to this is that I don't get to use the G-Spot bullet, which is why I originally bought this Hi-Tech bullet pack. The G-Spot bullet doesn't exactly hit the spot as well as some of my longer curved toys do, but it is a nice sensation and the angle of it coupled by the intense vibrations externally are really nice and get me incredibly aroused. I really just wish it wasn't so loud so that I could enjoy it more often. As it is I need to make sure no one else is upstairs or is going to be upstairs, have my bedroom door shut and also make sure I'm under the comforter; not exactly ideal for me.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I hate to say that I don't like it anymore, because it's not entirely the case. I just don't like it AS MUCH and probably would rate it more like a three star now. It's just that the sound really outweighs the interesting patterns. It's hard to get myself to orgasm when I am so distracted by the extremely loud bullet roaring at me. If I will be listening to music while using it it's fine but I usually don't do that..so I find that the hi-tech bullets have been moved to one of my lower drawers, which are the toys I don't reach for often at all.
