This basic vibrating bullet is my very first "real" toy. All my husband and I have tried was an off-the-shelf Durex cock ring you can find at any pharmacy or retail store. It was okay, but it really did do little to enhance anything during our sexual encounters. When I first laid eyes on this bullet, I thought, "well, vibrations didn't do anything for me before, but this one looks more promising." I read the reviews current for the times, and it sounded better and better.

Since this is a basic vibrating bullet, you can use this anywhere on the body in which you prefer that stimulation. Any erogenous zone will do (think nipples, clitoris, or head of penis). I found I also enjoyed the strong vibrations on less obvious zones, like my sore ankles.

The control on the bullet is a purple, textured plastic that probably won't slip out of your hands if your hands become slippery, but may break easily. It seems like a standard-grade plastic. The bullet itself is plastic that is painted silver, is smooth to the touch and easily cleaned. Since it's painted plastic, I believe there is a possibility that the paint could some day flake or chip off; however, I abused my bullet a bit to see if the paint would damage, and it did not. There is a raised seam in the middle of the bullet that some may find uncomfortable, but I did not notice during use. I wiped the bullet off with a mild soap and warm water, then patted it dry with paper towel. This toy is not waterproof.



EdenFantasys site specifies that this bullet is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and Phthalates free. It uses two AA batteries, which it does not include upon arrival. As shown in Packaging, there is a tiny paper leaflet included on how to install the batteries.

The vibrations range from very low to very high. Being a new user to the bullet, the highest setting was a shock to me. When I had the bullet on my table and turned it on the highest setting, it was literally bouncing up and down on the table like a jumping bean.

The bullet itself is a smooth, shiny object, oblong in shape and silver in color. It measures about 2 1/4" long and 3 1/2" in circumference. As mentioned before, it has a noticeable seam around the middle, but I did not feel during use, neither intimately nor on my ankles. I also found it's not too big and not too small. Plus, I had no problem keeping it in place no matter how slippery my intimate area became.

The purple control is textured, so if your hands were to become slippery, you should be able to keep your grip. Its shape reminds me of a stretched-out guitar pick, kind of like a rounded-end triangle. This measures at 4 1/2" long. You can see through the semi-transparent plastic that the batteries take up about half of the controller, while the mechanisms take up the other half.

The wire connecting the control to the bullet is approximately thirty inches (30") long. Two and a half feet of the wire gives you plenty of room to control with one hand and play with the other, or tease a partner. The wires are covered in clear plastic.



Since this is my first toy, I was wary that the wire might get in the way. I was actually surprised when I saw how long it was when I pulled it out of the packaging. Contrary to my belief, it did not get in my way and came in handy when I involved my husband in our play.

The control for this bullet is simple. It has a basic turn-dial speed adjuster. It starts off low and you can incease it to high. In terms of vroom, it goes all the way from one to five.



Bees is a different story. If you turn it on while it's lying on a table like I did for the first time, it goes from about three bees to five bees - oh the racket it made with hard thwacks on the table! However, it is an incredibly different story while in use. In hand, the bullet has a more reasonable vibration sound. While down under, it's practically inaudible, especially if under the covers.

Since this is my very first toy, I really can't compare it to other toys, besides our off-the-shelf Durex cock ring. In comparison to the cock ring, the vibrations of this bullet are va-va-VOOM! I like that it can adjust, although it doesn't have differing vibration patterns like some people prefer. If I'm feeling romantic, I can turn it all the way down. If I'm feeling frisky, I can try - though I have yet to achieve - turning the vibrations all the way up. Even though it's nothing particularly fancy, it still tickles my fancy, and that's what matters most to me with this bullet.

Now on to discretion. When my cat first laid her Siamese eyes on my bullet, it was when it was bouncing around on the table. Oh, she claimed it as hers! She thought the bullet was - well - the cat's pajamas! Sex toy to a cat? Nope. However, if any adult were to see this toy, they'd instantly know what it is. When it comes to sound, as long as you're in a room away from your children (and your cat!) and the door is closed, no one should be able to hear this bullet.

Caring for this particular bullet is simple. I put some dish soap in my hand and rub it over just the bullet, carefully rinse, then pat dry with a paper towel. This toy is not waterproof, so at no time should it ever be submerged in water or any other liquids. Although there is the raised seam on the bullet as mentioned before, the silver paint seals that shut so nothing can become trapped. However, I can see how it could be possible for mess to get stuck in the hole where the wire meets the bullet. I try to avoid that area touching my intimate spots in the first place, which would avoid the mess and damage to the toy. I also store it in a plastic freezer bag so dirt and pet hair stays out and the long wire stays untangled. It's absolutely low-maintenance when used properly.

Also, the turn-dial operation is supremely easy to turn, so a simple bump would be able to turn it on. Storing it loose in a sock drawer, for example, could be a bad idea because a sock roll could fall into it, bump it on, and your jumping bean bullet could make a huge racket at a bad time, or your batteries could wear out if you're not home to hear it. We now have a dresser drawer devoted to this and future toys for this purpose.

There is practically nothing to say about how the bullet arrived. It came in a clear, uninformative bag. From top to bottom, the bag says:

It also has a SKU and what I believe to be a serial number. Inside the bag, besides the bullet unit, is a small, square, white piece of paper instructing the user on how to install the batteries (2 AA, not included).





What bothers me the most about uninformative packaging is highlighted in this product. This is simply not a penetration toy since it is not waterproof, and it should not be used anally because there is no base and it could get sucked up into the body. If you use lubricant, I recommend keeping it away from the wire to avoid damage.

Since you need to rip into the plastic bag, it wouldn't be a good long-term solution for storage. Again, I store mine in a freezer bag to seal out dirt and keep the cord untangled. After I am done reviewing this bullet, the original packaging will be discarded.

I really did not expect much out of this bullet. It's obvious that I judged it much too harshly when I got it. You get every penny's worth out of it. Not only am I satisied with my experience, but it's going to serve as a gateway into new ones in the near future. I'm totally happy I tried it out.
