Finger massager discontinued
by Jimmyjane

Hello to you, Touch, but please make a Hello 2

The Hello Touch by JimmyJane is a great way to start toys of this kind. Because it is new for its time, there are some bugs to fix. This version isn't bad, but a Hello Touch 2.0 could be extraordinary.

Use

The Hello Touch by JimmyJane is pretty darn innovative in the sex toy world. Reminiscent of an iPod shuffle, the Touch is meant to turn your hand, particularly your fingers, into a sex toy. The finger vibrators are meant to be secured on your fingers to stimulate either yourself or a partner. The battery pack and controls are slid into the sleeve of the wrist cuff to make for versatile and ergonomic play.

The Hello Touch is advertised to be used either internally or externally. It can be placed on multiple parts of the fingers, other than just the pads of fingers. It can be used internally to stimulate the G-spot or the P-spot for men. JimmyJane has made this safe for anal play; if for some reason the finger vibes slip off, the wires they are attached to allow for the toy to be safely retrieved. However, the finger vibes have a very, very snug fit, so this is less of an issue in reality.

This toy could work for a variety of users. However, there are some people who might want to wait for a 2.0 version of the toy to come out. People who may wish for a better version to come out would be:

-Those who have an index finger size larger than a 6
-Those who need intense vibrations at 4 Vrooms minimum
-Those who want more than one standard vibration setting
-Those who would be annoyed at the AAAA battery requirement

If these things don't bother you, then the Hello Touch is an option for beginners and advanced users a like. The variety allows everyone a use they're comfortable with. It can intensity manual stimulation and foreplay as well.

Material / Texture

The Hello Touch is made of a few materials, but the covering of the vibrators (the important part) is made of silicone. Silicone ranks a 10 out of 10 on the materials scale. It is hypoallergenic, body safe, and non porous so bacteria cannot harbor inside of the toy. There are two finger vibrators. Each have two rings around them to they can be worn on the fingers. Here is how the look on the front and back.

The flatter side has a raised bump of silicone, probably to add to the stimulation. The JimmyJane logo can also be seen from this side. The small raised bump is the only texture on this side and should not disuade any users. There is a seam that bisects the finger vibrators, but they cannot be felt.

The bands on the finger vibrators are relatively tight. The average man's fingers will not fair very well with these bands. They are tight and could cut off circulations for some. They work all right with my hands, and I am a ring size 5.75. It may be possible to stretch the rings to a degree. I will update in my follow up if I was successful stretching the rings some.

There is no overt odor to the Hello Touch.

Design / Shape / Size

The Design for the Hello Touch could be improved, but this isn't a bad start. Both finger vibrators have their own motor, but they are controlled by one button. Each motor is about 1 inch long by .75 inches wide. They are not too bulky on the hands nor too small. Because the Touch is an amplifier for fingers, it is not very intimidating in any dimension.

The Touch does not scream sex toy. If anything, it might make wandering eyes curious because it is a new and odd toy. If they were to figure out the button, the use of the toy would be obvious. It's best to store the Touch in its pouch when not in use. If traveling, it might be best to remove the batteries just incase other items in your luggage turn it on (this is unlikely because the buttons can be hard to press, but it would be just your luck, right?). In terms of sound, the Touch is discreet. It's 1-2 Bees and is 1 Bee when on certain parts of the finger. You will not be heard beyond a closed door.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two buttons to the touch even if the sleeve for it shows 3 circles. The button farthest from the finger vibrators is the on button and the one on the other side is the off button. The middle circle has no button and is there for show. The buttons can be a bit annoying to press. Pressing directly on the button doesn't seem to be the best strategy. I found pressing slightly below the bump of the button makes it easier to press.

There is only one function to the Touch: one intensity of standard vibration. It is a sold 3 Vrooms. It is more buzzy and nature and can numb your fingers depending on where you place the finger vibrators. It is good that the toy has a dedicated off button.

The Touch takes 2 AAAA batteries, they are a bit smaller than AAA batteries. These are not common household batteries, so I don't know what the thought process was on that one. Perhaps the newer model will have AAA batteries or even, preferably, be rechargeable. The good news is your first set of AAAA batteries are included by JimmyJane. The toy doesn't seem like a battery guzzler either, which is good to know.

The finger vibrators can be inserted and washed with soap and water, but take care not to get the battery pack wet.

Overall, the vibrations travel to a degree. If you place the finger vibrators passed the 1st knuckle of your finger your fingers won't get numb as quickly, you can feel the pads of your fingers, and you can stimulate yourself or your partner. Granted, the vibrations alone probably won't do it for most users, but if a partner who is already skilled at manual stimulation uses it, it can be a pleasurable experience. This toy can be inserted, but I think it fairs best for external stimulation. The shape would make it a bit uncomfortable fo insertion for some users, but others may appreciate the intense experience.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Touch isn't bad. The finger vibrators can safely be washed in soap and water. They are designed to be inserted in the body so they can be washed without fear of ruining them. Be sure to wash thoroughly if you use them for insertion; debris can can caught around the silicone ring and along the sides of the vibrators. If the wrist cuff gets soiled, it can easily be hand washed with no issue. It is fabric. You could get away with throwing it in the wash, but let it air dry after.

Once clean and dry, the Touch can be stored in the black pouch it comes with. If sotring for long periods of time, it is best to remove the batteries. Because there finger vibes have silicone finger bands, only water based lubricant should be used with this toy. Lint collection is not bad for the finger vibes being covered in silicone (and being white).

Packaging

Packaging for the Touch is similar to MP3 players and smaller technology items. The white, card stock box is placed in a clear plastic sleeve. Remoce that to get to the box. Then there is the wrist cuff and then the toy itself nestled in a white, plastic shell. There are two sets of instructions. There is a quick instructions booklet that shows diagrams on how to run and take care of the Touch. The other set in the longer form of instructions with text.

The package comes with batteries, which is nice. It also comes with an interesting black pouch. The pouch won't work for most other toys and is custom to the Touch. It is a long, soft, black rectangular cloth. Both sides have small pockets. To put your Touch away, place the wrist cuff (with control pack inside it) in one pocket and the finger vibrators in the other pocket. Then there is a metal snap to close the pouch.

The packaging is fairly discreet. There are no lewd pictures and the toy itself looks like something for a virtual reality console or a sensor tool.

Experience

I was eyeing the Touch since it came out. I'm a sucker for tech, and I love new things, so I was really excited to try this one out. When I showed my partner the toy, he was more skeptical about it than anything. However, when it came in the mail, he took the packaging from me and wanted to play with it first (and even asked me questions about how it worked while he was the first and only one ouching it. I guess he thinks I'm he sex-pert).

It was not hard to figure it out and get it going. He decided to put the vibrators further down his fingers, passed the first knuckle. When the toy turned on, you could feel light vibrations being transmitted through his fingers. He liked wearing it, and was determined to try it one me. He said with this configuration, he was able to feel what he was doing and be a vibrator. He has a lot to say about this product, and he intends on reviewing it in the near future.

I enjoyed the vibrations his fingers gave me and he enjoyed the toy. I feel it's more his at this point, which is fine with me. He has named this toy, which is a rare accomplishment only few toys will ever receive. He has named the Hello Touch "Cyborg," because he feels badass wearing it. Our biggest issue with this toy is that the cuffs are too tight for him. We will try to stretch out the finger cuffs to give him a more comfortable fit.

So... should you buy the Hello Touch? If you're willing to overlook the few bugs and appreciate some new sex toy technology, I say Touch is a worthy purchase. If you don't want to deal with its faults and are looking for a more polished toy, I would wait for the 2.0 to come out; I'm confident JimmyJane would deliver.

Excellent info and detail, thanks! Could use a little more proofreading, though, as I'm guessing you didn't mean to say that the toy "can numb your gingers"...
