Hello Mr Squishy...
It is probably OK for beginners, or very sensitive bodies. It didn't really rock my world, but I prefer more intensity in a vibrator.

Pros
Patterns of vibration, easy to reach controls.
Cons
Too soft for me, noisy.
Let me preface this review by saying that some like it soft and some like it hard. I happen to be one of those who likes things hard. The Satin Slim Curve is definitely not in that category. It's a fine toy for those who appreciate the softer things in life. It's made of a soft, jelly-like, material that's very pliable and conforms to curves. I could see this being a really good toy for beginners, or women who are extra-sensitive.
The motor is actually pretty good. With brand new batteries in it, and on a high setting, the vibration is maybe 80% of the power of a Hitachi Magic Wand on low. The programs are probably the best feature of the toy. There are a number of different patterns of vibration (ten in all). And again, it could be a great starter toy to help someone figure out what they like best.
The material itself, as I mentioned, is pretty soft and seems porous; but it also seemed to clean pretty well. I didn't notice any odor when I first opened the package. The toy is supposed to be waterproof but I haven't really tested out that feature.
It's curved to hit the G-spot, but it seems as if the softness of the material just absorbs the vibrations. Even on the highest setting I didn't really feel much of anything transmitted internally. Then again, I might have had a different answer before childbirth.
The size was OK, not too big, not too little. The controls are at the bottom of the toy, very easy to reach during solo play. You have to cycle through all the patterns to get to a particular one, but once you find one you like the toy is supposed to ‘remember’ it. That's a pretty nifty feature; I just didn't happen to find a pattern that really did it for me.
