So - I was lucky enough to win the Aurora in a contest over on the forums way back in February..and life happened, so I never got to the review.

When I first opened it up, the first thing I noticed was the color - bright pink - not my personal favorite, but not a deal breaker. Then I noticed the incredibly smooth texture. It is sleek and sexy. And then the arm - different from usual rabbit type vibes - not an animal in sight! It is wide and flexible, and I was super curious to try it out.

Getting down to business the first time. This was a solo session and somewhat clinical as I just wanted to get to know the Aurora a bit.
That super smooth and sleek feel was a little different for me (I tend to gravitate to texture), but it was very enjoyable. The control buttons are in the expected place and easy to use. I cycled through the different vibrations and then settled on the one that "spoke to me" (it's the high & constant one - I'm a simple creature). That was great, the curve of the main arm hits me in all the right places - what was a little less great was the clitoral stimulation. The design of the arm did require some maneuvering on my part and didn't want to stay in position once I got it there. Once I was in a bit of a groove - I added some heat. While it was there - it is very mild. Enjoyable, but would not really make a difference if the function was not there.

All in all - I liked this toy from the outset. The controls are easy, it feels great, an I appreciate the little things that do set it apart.

While my initial experience was just nice - I have found that in the following months, this has become my go-to toy when flying solo. I love the curve on the Aurora. I love the vibration. I love the actual feel of the toy. It is waterproof, it is rechargeable, it is relatively quiet, and it gets the job done for me. I travel for work fairly often, and this is always in my bag.

The vibration scale is pretty standard (7 speeds) - working from slow to higher stimulation and then cycling through a few different patterns. For me - the highest, consistent speed is always the go-to, and the Aurora does not disappoint.

This is a pretty standard vibe - gets the job done - but don't expect a 4th of July finale. The best way to describe it is that it gives you the cozy sweater of orgasms. Comforting, reliable, and relaxing.
