Happy Holiday!
I adore this thing. I love it when I'm teasing myself, I love it when I'm penetrating myself, I love it when I just look at it. It may be noisy at the highest setting but that doesn't make me love it any less. I am an Evolved convert, that's for sure.

It's my belief that everyone needs a good, basic vibrator in their toy chest. Even when it's not used for penetration, a vibrator is still great for "warming up" the genitals for the "harder stuff". My first traditional shaped vibrator, a Doc Johnson Velvet Touch, is excellent for beginners but its vibrations start lacking the longer you have it. So then, where do you go next?
Evolved Novelties has provided the near-perfect bridge between super-basic vibrator and higher end, multifunction toys.
Material wise, Evolved's Seduction Holiday Edition and Doc Johnson's Velvet Touch vibes are both made of plastic treated with special finishes to make them smooth against the skin. Evolved calls it "satiny texture" while DJ claims their vibe is, well, velvety to the touch. I personally don't see a difference between the textures but they both feel great. They're also both compatible with either water-based or silicone-based lube. Both are also waterproof (*never use water-based lube in the shower!) and both run on two AA batteries. Those are similarities between the two.
The differences are what make or break each vibe in my opinion. The Seduction Holiday Edition is multi-speed just like the Doc Johnson, only its vibrations are more intense. Even the lowest setting is about the equivalent to the my DJ's highest setting which I feel is middle-of-the-road. The second setting is slightly higher and the third and highest setting is intense, but not so intense that your clit will catch on fire. I also like how this toy uses a button at the bottom of the base, unlike DJ's twist dial. When your hands are covered in lube it can be a pain in the ass to adjust the speed on a dial. A button is more user-friendly in my opinion.
From the very second after I took it out of its packaging, I have loved this toy. I normally need dual stimulation to get off, but the vibrations on this toy are so intense that I can come with this toy and only this toy within minutes. Whether I'm gliding it along my clit, around my vaginal opening or simply penetrating myself with it, I feel like I'm on holiday when my orgasm hits. The volume may increase as the speed increases but if you're in as much bliss as I am whenever I use this, you'll probably not hear it anyway.
If you have a very basic traditional vibrator you're bored of or you're curious to try one or upgrade, the Seduction Holiday Edition is an awesome option to try out.

This is still my "go-to" traditional/phallic vibrator. The only complaint I have is that it likes to eat batteries. Other than that one problem, I adore this toy.
