This is a very simple, ordinary vibrator with a power level that would make me recommend it to friends. Well, friends without sensitive noses. I don't think its name is remotely accurate but if straight up vibrations are what you want, you will get them here. Just don't expect any patterns or several speeds. I would give it four stars just for the power, but the company's misleading packaging and the smell took a star away for me.

Pros
- Cute color - Good amount of power - Waterproof
Cons
- It does not "gyrate," no, not at all - The smell!
The Mini Gyrating Jumper is a three-speed vibrator controlled via a simple push button on the bottom of the toy. It's got a good amount of power, so I would recommend it to anyone in general who likes plastic vibrators. Beginners will like that it's easy to use with no complicated battery pack to insert or charging station to figure out. Others will like the shape.
This toy will work best for clitoral and internal, vaginal stimulation. It doesn't have a flared base so using it anally is not a good idea. Since this toy is waterproof, you can use it in the bath or shower.
Does it work as a G-spot toy? It didn't for me, but your mileage may vary. Toys that curve are what does it for me. If bulged toys get you going in that department, have at it!
As far as noise goes, this one isn't ridiculously loud but it's not exactly roommate-friendly either depending on your situation. The noise won't go through a closed door, but blankets won't contain it either.
This toy is made out of smooth plastic with a silky coating. It's a hypoallergenic, phthalates-free, latex-free, and food-safe material. It gets an 8 on Eden's material safety scale.
I personally love plastic toys that have this coating instead of the shiny ones that don't have one. It feels soft to the touch despite being such a hard material. That said, it is definitely not flexible in any way and will not bend with force.
The metal ring around the cap portion is described as plastic with "silver plating" on the box. That area on mine looks a little dented and bubbled in areas. It looks like I could peel it off if I really tried and used a pin.
I wish I could say this toy had no smell or taste but, well, it did. It arrived with a very strong plastic smell that gave me a headache. After washing with anti-bacterial soap, the smell was cut in half but was definitely still there. It tasted about how you would expect from the smell. Not horribly unpleasant, just very much like cheap plastic cups I've bought from dollar stores.
This toy is rounded on both ends with an indentation and second bulge under the top ball. It kind of reminds me of an elongated chess piece. It's around 5 inches long and 1 and 1/4" in diameter. This makes it a good size for people new to penetration or who don't like larger toys.
Though the toy isn't shaped like something phallic, I wouldn't say it was entirely discreet either. It does look like a vibrator to me. Luckily, the size makes it easy to hide at home or while traveling. It's small enough to fit in the front pocket of my backpack.
This toy comes in pink, purple, and green. I always appreciate it when a manufacturer gives people at least one color option other than pink or purple, as I try to collect as many different colors in my collection as possible and I know others enjoy doing the same. I'm reviewing the green one, obviously. It's a very nice shade of green, almost a light "neon" green. It reminds me of the green color the Leaf line of vibrators comes in.
Side note: There's a bit of an odd indentation running along both sides of the toy instead of a seam. It didn't bother me and I couldn't feel it during use. I just thought I would mention it for the sake of science.
This toy is controlled with a button on the very bottom of the toy. The power is had from 2 AAA batteries, which are sadly not included. Be sure to stock up on some before buying this item.
There are three speeds of vibration, each higher than the next. The first and lowest one is my favorite, and I'm a fan of power so that's a pretty good sign that advanced users will like its motor too. The highest level made me feel numb so I didn't like it as much. The vibrations are moderately buzzy and most of the power is situated in the head of the toy, with not too much drifting down to the end of the toy. I liked that, as it made it more comfortable to hold.
There are no patterns with this toy, only three speeds. There is also no "intense gyrating action" or "throbbing action" despite what the box says. It's a nice, basic vibrator with a good power level, but that is it.
As for whether or not it is waterproof, yes it is. Just be sure to twist the cap on securely before getting it near water.
Plastic toys like this one are very easy to care for. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and water to get it clean, use a spray-on cleaner, use cleaning wipes on it, or wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol.
Plastic toys are compatible with any kind of lubricant. Water-based, oil, and silicone-based are all safe to use with it so just choose one that works well with your body and doesn't cause you any issues. You don't have to worry about the toy melting from it.
I store this toy with all my other toys in my main toy box, as I've never had plastic toys have strange reactions with other materials. It doesn't take up much space. You could store it in the original box if you wanted, but it would be more bulky than just putting the toy in a bag and there's nothing special about the box. It's not padded or anything.
The box this toy came in was very colorful, with a paint splotch design. It isn't discreet at all and had a big picture of the toy on front as well as things like "Intense gyrating action." Yeah, everyone will know what this is if they see the box.
On the right side of the box, there's information on the toy's materials, the usual "Novelty product only" warning, and the California Exotic Novelties web address. On the left side is another picture of the toy. On the back, there's some basic information about the toy's features in five languages. It also has another web address where you can apparently register your toy.
The toy itself is in a plastic bag inside the box with no further instructions.
Gyration is defined as movement in a circle around a fixed center in my dictionary. I don't know about you, but the movements of a typical vibrator for me don't really fit that definition.
I have been noticing a new trend among toy manufacturers of labeling toys as "gyrating" or similar terms since the release of the Stronic Eins by Fun Factory which has a thrusting, pulsing motion as its big draw. Is it a coincidence? I guess we'll never know. It's just another example of why reviews are important to read before purchasing a toy. Manufacturers do the marketing, reviewers tell you what's really going down.
A much better name for this toy would be "Mini vibrating jumper."
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it2 months after original review
I still can't bring myself to use this much. The smell hasn't faded enough and I would rather use a toy that doesn't give me a headache. I'm probably going to end up recycling this one.

Thanx for the EU review .It is misconcieving about the name as I would think the head would spin around as well and almost looks like the type of design where it would.
I found your review to be very informative...thanx again for sharing

Great review! I'm disappointed about the misleading name/packaging of this toy and will probably be staying away from it because i'm very sensitive to that "plastic smell" and it will cause me migraines.

Excellent review. I have one of the other non-gyrating "Gyrating" toys but fortunately it has no smell. Your pictures are really nice.
