This toy is a little daunting at first as to how to use it. Instead of one bullet, like all other toys like this, it has two. Women can use it to stimulate clitoris and anus and I find this is best done by just letting the other buzzer hang and rest over the anus. You could use two hands if you wanted to. Partners could also share the buzzers, but you either have to be really close to each other or split the double cord more. I would not recommend trying to put the two buzzers side by side for added clitoral stimulation as this resulted in the tissue between the buzzers getting smashed and pinched due to the vibration. This toy is versatile and would work for any combination of sexual partners for a variety of uses.
This toy is made of a smooth, nonporous plastic that is hypoallergenic, latex and phthalates free, food grade material that feels silky to the touch. It has a negligible smell and I really felt no need to taste it. The sides of the toy are a rubbery, no-slip grippy material that makes it easy to hold onto with lubed hands.
The design is fair, but there are a couple of flaws. If you need to stretch the buzzers apart, you have to split the cord and you can't exactly put them back together without some kind of tape. This toy could definitely benefit from some kind of slide mechanism on the cord so that the distance between the buzzers can be increased and decreased according to need. The loop at the top is where you put your finger and can click the button to change settings. This makes it easy to hold and change the settings at the same time. The toy is small and could be discreetly packed away in a purse or suitcase. It would also be great for beginners or advanced individuals.
As with all of the corded buzzer toys of this design that we have used, the cords leading into the buzzer eggs have a tendency to separate at the buzzer. We have had this toy for about a month and one of the buzzer's have already died. This is a risk posed by using any sort of corded electronic device, not just toys.
This toy does lack some type of indicator as to what setting you are on. This makes for some pleasant surprises, but can be tricky when you are trying to find a certain setting. However, the controls are simple as there is only a power switch and a button to change settings. As far as performance, it can be hit and miss. The toy will often switch off when changing settings. This is likely due to either low battery life or we have noticed that one of the battery posts can become crooked when opening the battery compartment. I would recommend checking that and making sure both springs are making a good connection with the batteries. Also I would recommend lifting the top of the toy straight up rather than angling the bottom to the right as the arrow indicates. On the up side, this toy packs a lot of punch as far as vibration. The best feature of this toy is the variable vibrations on each setting. You don't quite know what it's going to do next and it makes it pretty fun to use. One setting has constant vibration that doesn't stop, while others have variable short and long bursts. The settings also vary in the intensity of the vibration.
This toy is easy to care for. It does seem to be waterproof as the packaging states, so it can be easily washed off with soap and water or the toy cleaner of your choice. As we do not have a special "toy chest" for ourselves, it sits with many of our other toys it a cabinet built into our headboard.
The toy was packaged in plastic in a fairly large box for the size of the toy. It would be a great gift as packaged. There were no instructions included in the package. You pretty much just have to turn it on to figure out how the settings work.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore9 months after original review
As with many of the toys of this type, the wires developed shorts. Within three months or so of receiving this product, it no longer worked normally. It was used an average of one to two times a week over this period, and not given a very hard "workout". The two eggs vibrations would cut in an out at random intervals. And the wires had to be adjusted, where they entered the egg, to get them buzzing again.
