Great for some, painful for others
The shape of the We-Vibe ended up being uncomfortable and not at all pleasurable for me. While it works well for some, it is painful for others, which makes it a gamble for the price.

Pros
Good quality, rechargeable toy.
Cons
The shape doesn't work for me.
The We-Vibe is a great idea: a hands-free vibrator to give extra stimulation during sex. Many women, myself included, can't have an orgasm from intercourse alone. Pleasurable as a thrusting penis may be, we require direct clitoral stimulation to take us over the edge.
I was hopeful when I bought the We-Vibe. I'd heard a few good reviews. It also has many great features. It's rechargeable rather than using batteries. It's made of a safe material: silicone. It's even waterproof. The idea that you could insert half during sex, and the other half would press nicely against the clitoris to provide vibrations, sounded wonderful so I didn't mind the relatively hefty price tag.
When I received the We-Vibe I was pleased with the quality of the construction. It's well-made and has a nice shape and texture. It's smooth to the touch, not too big, and bends nicely. The way the charger plugs in is quite clever, and the case is a classy touch. It didn't seem cheap, which was good because it wasn't cheap.
First I tried it solo, wanting to get used to the controls and the feel before introducing it to my partner. I inserted the thinner end and turned it on high. The vibrations were actually pretty powerful for such a small device, but they didn't transfer too well to my clitoris unless I held the vibe down against it. I decided to try thrusting with a dildo, but unfortunately the silicone on the outside of the We-Vibe felt kind of sticky against the silicone of my dildo, even with plenty of water-based lube. When I tried to thrust the dildo it shifted the We-Vibe in a painful way.
I figured my partner's penis would be a better match with the We-Vibe and tried it out with him. Unfortunately, although we tried a couple of positions, the clitoral portion of the We-Vibe just didn't press against my clitoris enough to provide any pleasure to me, and the inserted portion just felt uncomfortable and occasionally painful when my partner was thrusting. My partner said that he couldn't feel the We-Vibe while we were having sex. After several minutes of trying it out I gave up and removed it.
Unfortunately the shape just didn't work for me, so it ended up being a waste of money. I was disappointed that all of that promise and good construction didn't live up to what I'd hoped.
