Couldn't feel a thing (but my qp partner loves it) by ghostbabe
Great for Beginners, but Somewhat Flimsy
The FingO does feel a bit flimsy, but for the price you can't expect incredible craftsmanship. It is made well enough to do its job, and it is even waterproof. Despite the on/off button of my FingO occasionally becoming incredibly spastic, I still feel it was a great purchase for a beginner such as myself and my partner. It is effective enough at giving pleasure to my partner and inexpensive enough that I would buy another were my current FingO to break.
Published:
Pros
Inexpensive, portable, waterproof, works great for clitoral stimulation, easy to use
Cons
Sticky, cheaply made, finger ring not terribly effective, on/off button easy to accidentally push
Use
The FingO, while not having particularly powerful vibrations, is great for clitoral stimulation of those who are new to vibrating products. The vibrations, from my experience with using it on my female partner, aren't powerful enough to cause much pleasure in other places of the vagina, but when applied correctly to the clit, my partner loves it. We're both fairly new to sex toys, so keep that in mind, but I find that placing the very edge of the round nub against her clit and gently moving it in small circles works great and causes the occasional shudder. It works well to stimulate the nipples as well, if you or your partner enjoy that.
I've heard that the FingO supposedly works if it is held up against the penis, but personally I find it's not quite powerful enough to be pleasurable there without pushing it incredibly firmly against it. At that point, the pressure of the item tends to outweigh the pleasure of the vibrations. Some guys might find it enjoyable, but personally I find it rather underwhelming. It's much better suited for the female in my opinion.
I believe this would work very well if a female chooses to pleasure herself with it, but I've had good success with and gotten great enjoyment out of using it on my partner. Using it on your partner would work especially well for females who don't know their own anatomy particularly well, and would therefore find it difficult to find their sensitive areas and pleasure themselves with it. If you're using it on your partner, you can easily see what you're doing and massage the clitoris easily.

Material / Texture
The silicone FingO Mini Massager doesn't have a smell that I've noticed, or at least the scent is very light. While the texture is smooth, it also tends to be "sticky" against the skin, and can cause uncomfortable rubbing if used without applying some lubrication to the nubby parts and surface of the massager. I usually put a small drop of lube on it at my partners request, as she is afraid it would hurt without it. It also tends to attract stray dust and hair because of the stickiness, so I need to consistently rinse it off before using it.
The nubs I feel don't make much of a difference for the toy; it's really the vibrations that matter. In fact, most of the time when I use the FingO on her clit, it's by applying pressure to the clit with the very top of the massager (which has no nubs). I've lately tried placing the upper nubby surface of the FingO against her clit, but it seems to be no more intense than when I simply use the non-nubbed tip.

Design / Shape / Size
The design of the FingO is interesting, with the protruding head of the device being particularly useful. I find that trying to apply pressure directly to your partner's clit with this device is a bit difficult due to the strange angle. Your finger tends to slip out of the ring or the massager moves around on your finger. I've found myself simply holding the massager with my fingers and completely ignoring the ring on multiple occasions. I'd imagine that the FingO would stay on your finger much better if you were using it on yourself.
The on/off button on the FingO has a strange quirk to it (or at least the one I purchased does). The button sometimes clicks in what is supposed to be the on position, but will not work unless I hold the button down. This makes the massager difficult to hold in position, especially if it is wet in any way. Sometimes it alternates between being on and turning off in quick succession while using it. Other times the button works fine. One of the connections must be faulty inside the device, and I have not even put it through any rough use.

Functions / Performance / Controls
The FingO only has two settings, on and off, and the vibrations are not particularly strong. The vibrations seem to be more than enough for my partner when it is pressed against her clit, but I believe it is not strong enough to stimulate a female in any other places besides perhaps the nipples. It also does not seem powerful enough to truly stimulate my penis without having to press it far too firmly against the shaft or head to be comfortable. Other men might have different results with that, however.
In spite of all that, the FingO DOES give an okay shoulder massage if you press the bulbous upper portion of the massager into your neck/shoulder muscles.
The on/off button is very easy to push by accident. It seems to have a hair trigger, meaning simply brushing it could turn the device off and ruin any rhythm you built up. I also tend to want to place my thumb on the bottom of the device to support it while using it on my partner and pressing it gently against her clit. If I don't hold the FingO there, it sometimes slips off the front of my finger and falls to the side of it. The bottom of the FingO is exactly where the power button is located, which means compared with the hair trigger I end up turning the device off by mistake a few times.
This toy is not particularly noisy, but if you were using it in a typical college dorm, it can be heard through the door if the room is completely quiet. If there is a bit of conversation going on outside it won't be heard. My partner insists it sounds just like my electric razor, which means some people might be able to pass the noise off as shaving instead of a sex toy. Some moderate-volume background music should cover up the noise of the FingO nicely without being too suspicious.

Care and Maintenance
Taking care of the FingO is fairly easy, but the material is fairly sticky, meaning it has a slight "lint roller" effect. I keep it in a plastic resealable bag (Ziploc) to avoid it picking up any dust, lint, or hairs from either its storage container or wherever it is I place it. I once dropped it on my floor and picked it up right away (the house has cats living in it) and a few pieces of fur and some dust got onto it. It took a decent amount of rinsing to clean off, but nothing excessive.
I wouldn't reccommend throwing the FingO around either. It seems a bit flimsy, if only because of the aforementioned on/off switch issues which developed in my massager after only light use. It is fairly cheap though, and if it does break it's not a terribly big deal.
I have used it with the basic KY jelly and they work fine together. In fact, I almost always put a small drop of lubricant on the FingO before using it on my partner, as she is afraid of the stickyness of the silicone rubbing against her insides.

Packaging
The packaging for the FingO massager is full of half-naked women and silly puns about "give boring sex the finger." I don't really mind this, especially since I didn't pay much for the product, but some people may be turned off by it since it is far from discreet. The FingO might actually be decently suited as a gag gift because of the packaging.
The packaging is a piece of cardboard with some cheap plastic molding holding the massager and some extra batteries in place. It was meant to be opened and promptly discarded, and because of this, is very easy to open. The packaging does not contain an actual holder for the FingO, just the plastic designed to hold it in place in the packaging. This is unfortunate due to the lint roller tendencies of the FingO, so it tends to get dirty if you don't have a plastic bag handy right after opening or using the massager. I also promptly lost the extra batteries that came with the massager. Once the packaging is opened, the small button cell batteries tend to float about loosely in the plastic part of the packaging. I guess they fell out somewhere while transporting the box.

Personal comments
This device is great for beginners. The low price means there is a low barrier to entry. The lower power of the FingO is just powerful enough for those such as my partner who are inexperienced with vibrators or are not used to clitoral stimulation to feel great pleasure, but not be terribly overwhelmed by the vibrations. Those more experienced with vibrators or clitoral stimulation might find the power of this item lacking. The finger loop is a bit awkward and not great if you are using it on your partner instead of yourself, but it doesn't really get in the way if you elect to use the FingO without it.
Experience
This was one of the first vibrators my partner and I used, and is easy enough to use that we figured out how it works and where it feels best in a matter of minutes. It is not very powerful, but for novices such as my partner, in those incredibly sensitive areas such as the clit, it can be more than enough and cause high amounts of pleasure. I actually can't keep the device directly over her clitoris for too long without it becoming too intense for her. She says it feels good, and asks me to continue using it on her after a short break, but constant stimulation can overwhelm her.

@spiced: Yeah, it's really inconvenient at times. I spent about a minute playing with the switch one time, simply trying to get it to stay on. I couldn't do it, but the next day the switch worked fine. It's a bit of a wildcard.
Also I'm actually quite interested in the mentor program, and will probably apply to it as soon as I'm able. I just need some other products I ordered t arrive in my mailbox so I can review them =)
