Great for a beginner
Great for a beginner who may not know yet what they're looking for. The seasoned professional should look for a toy with more versatility and functions.

Pros
Travel friendly, uncomplicated, nice vibration.
Cons
Could be quieter, lack of functions, easy to get water in cartridge.
The iVibe pocket rocket by Doc Johnson is an ideal toy for a beginner. It features a simple design and lacks overly complicated functions. Despite its lack of functions, I would recommend it for any toy collection.
Personally, I found the vibrations nice but would have enjoyed more functions such as an option for stronger or weaker vibrations. I found the cap that comes with the toy to be slightly uncomfortable. It is best used with little movement but no worries; it feels great without the cap attachment. Because the toy has a flat vibration surface, it may not be ideal for people who prefer targeted vibrations to the clitoris.
Putting the battery in for the first time was awkward. After fumbling with it for 20 minutes or so, it still would not close with the battery in. After trying it with a different battery, it fit fine and closed more easily, so it may have just been a snag on the battery. Turning it on and off is a little difficult because it functions by twisting it. The package states that this toy is waterproof; however, I advise that it should not be fully submerged. It is very easy to get water in the battery cartridge and ruin the toy.
The toy has a medium range sound. It's not the quietest toy on the market but you could probably get away with using it in a crowded household. Muffle the sound under your sheets or in the bathroom. The iVibe pocket rocket is small enough to be easily used during sex for extra stimulation, and can be used on the clit as well as the head of the penis.
Overall, it is a good buy for the price, and is great for those who want a discreet toy to hide from your nosy roommates, for outdoor play or for travelling.
