So, I'd like to start by saying that this is really not the sort of toy I'd normally purchase for myself; it's not silicone, it's not rechargeable, and it's not waterproof. But when I saw it being offered as a free promotional item, I saw it as a good opportunity to try out the rotating head and bead features, which was something I'd been curious about, but had been a little on the fence about actually buying (mainly because the only silicone toys I've been able to find with those features tend to be on the pricier side). This seemed like a great way to see if I liked those features without having to gamble any of my money.
The Angel Bunny arrived in Eden's typical nondescript brown shipping box and was packed in with my other items with brown shipping paper and sealed in a simple plastic bag. As always, I appreciated Eden's lack of bulky, wasteful packaging. I opened up the bag, examined the toy, and felt the material. It's a sort of see-through pink, which isn't my favourite, but it is rather cute. The bunny attachment is very cute and detailed, complete with front legs, facial features, and etched fur detailing. The insertable shaft of the toy is fairly realistic (aside from the colour, obviously), with a defined head, wrinkles, and veins. The Angel Bunny is made from soft, squishy TPR in the insertable portion and clit vibe, and hard ABS plastic for the control pad and battery compartment. While I've never had a sex toy made from TPR before, it's been something I've avoided until now, mainly because it's slightly porous and thus not as safe as something like silicone (TPR scores a 7/10 on Eden's safety scale, while silicone scores 10/10). Also, I've just never liked the look of TPR toys. The rubbery, see-through aesthetics have always looked kind of cheap and unappealing to me. However, as I felt the material, it wasn't as bad as I expected. It definitely felt more rubbery and had more drag than high-quality silicone, but it wasn't sticky or tacky, and I liked how squishy it was. This rabbit is also quite small and unintimidating (a little over 5" insertable, with a 4" circumference), which can be good or bad depending on who you are. It's definitely beginner-friendly.
I opened up the battery compartment, pulled out the little battery holder, and inserted 3 AAA batteries. I was relieved it took AAA, since that seems to be what all my battery-operated devices use, so that's all I have in the house. I noticed that there was an O-ring around the area where the battery cap screws on, albeit a fairly flimsy-looking O-ring. I would guess that this rabbit is probably splash-proof, but definitely not waterproof (meaning it'll probably be okay under the tap or in the shower, but you shouldn't submerge it). However, I'm erring on the side of caution and try to keep the battery compartment area totally dry. I clean it with toy cleaner and a damp cloth rather than holding it under the sink tap. (A note regarding care for this toy: TPR is quite easy to clean and care for. You should clean it using mild soap and water or a toy cleaner. You cannot boil it or put it in the dishwasher, as the heat would melt the material. You also shouldn't clean it with bleach or alcohol, since the material is slightly porous, and you don't want to introduce those kinds of chemicals to your genital area.)
I tried cycling through its various controls. The control panel is very simple and easy to use. There are two sets of plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. One is labelled "rotation" and the other is labelled "vibration." To turn on the head and bead rotation in the shaft, you press the plus button under the "rotation" label and then can adjust between three speeds with the plus and minus buttons. You can turn off the rotation by hitting the minus button (you have to hit it more than once if you're on a higher setting). The vibrations in the rabbit-shaped slit attachment are controlled the same way with the buttons under the "vibration" label. The clit attachment also has three intensity settings (all are constant vibrations, this guy doesn't have any patterns). There's another button, above the others, that's labelled "R/S," which changes the direction of the shaft rotation. It's all pretty self-explanatory. The controls are very easy to figure out and operate. The three-speed rotation looked like fun, and the vibrations in the clit vibe seemed pretty strong, especially on the highest setting. I liked that you could control the shaft and clit vibe separately.
