When you first open your Love Rider package, make sure you adjust the straps ahead of time. Getting the sizing right can take some time, and you don't want to be fumbling with it in the heat of the moment! In terms of fitting, you want the vibrating bullet to be on top of your clit and the beaded circle to surround your vaginal opening. I used scissors to cut off the extra slack of the straps because I found them annoying.

Once it is fitted, you are ready to go! The bullet needs to have 3 watch batteries put in it in order to work. To turn on, press the button once. With each press of the button, you change the vibrating setting (there are 7 total). To turn off, press and hold the button down.

The Love Rider is designed to be worn by a woman during intercourse, making it a couple-friendly toy. Women can wear it during masturbation and use it with a dildo if desired. Anal sex is a challenge with this toy due to the thong design.

If you want to change things up, you can remove the bullet from the thong and use it on its own! It is waterproof, so enjoy it in the shower or bathtub. The bullet can safely be used on all body parts EXCEPT inside the anus, because there is no flared base.

The straps are also made of silicone, but are not comfortable at all. You know those Speedo goggles you wear when you go swimming in the pool? Yeah, that's what it feels like, only it's in between your butt cheeks and on your thighs. The straps stick and pull on your skin, much like a thick rubber band. Plastic adjusters dig into your skin and pester the user.

The entire thong is flexible, except for the bullet, and there is no detectable smell.

My biggest complaint is the strap design - not only do they feel irritating to the skin, but the straps are located in uncomfortable positions on the body. Since the bullet needs to be located over the clit, the straps have to hang low and cut across the lower hips. This is a very sensitive area (for me at least) and having silicone straps clinging me there is not fun. I also did not find the G-string comfortable - thick plastic between my butt cheeks is not my definition of a good time. The clear plastic adjusters are also located in very inconvenient positions - one is located on the G-string portion, which I find incredibly annoying. Another adjuster is located in the back, which becomes irritating during missionary positions (the plastic digs into your skin due to the pressure).

The beaded circle is also poorly designed - when looking at the thong, it is in a nice circle shape. However, when the thong is worn, this circle is stretched into an oval. This makes penetration challenging, especially for girthy dildos/penises. Wearing the thong during sex can be annoying because you have to make sure the circle is situated perfectly over your vaginal opening. This creates a lot of need for pausing and adjusting. Having sex with the lights out makes this an "interesting" venture to say the least.

I also am disappointed by the bullet - it is very difficult to situate it right on top of the head of clit (which is my preference for vibrators). I was only able to adjust it so that it sat on top of the hood of the clit, which didn't provide enough clitoral stimulation for me.

The bullet by itself is very easy to use, but it is small (it IS a bullet after all) which can cause problems when holding it.

The button is very easy and straightforward to use. If you accidentally change the setting, you have to cycle through all 7 in order to get back to where you want to be. The vibrations are effective, but may be underwhelming for those who want more stimulation. I personally enjoy the vibrations for foreplay, but it is not enough to bring me to orgasm.

Its waterproof design is convenient, but not very practical. I find it necessary to use lube with this toy, which is difficult in the shower or bathtub.

Silicone is one of the easiest materials to care for because it is non-porous. However, the clear plastic adjusters and the bullet are made from plastic, which offers some limitations. For cleaning, your best bet is to use toy cleaner or mild soap with water. Clean this product after each use. This toy cannot be used between partners because there are plastic pieces which make it impossible to safely put this toy in boiling water.

Silicone is a very durable material. Do not use silicone-based lubes with this toy! It will damage the material over time.

The Love Rider comes in plastic pouch, which is located in a medium-sized box. The box is easy to open and acts as a great way to store the thong. However, the box is not discreet for those who are living with others. It states on the front "Love Rider", "Lover's Thong", and "The Complete Strap On System." On the back, there is basic information regarding the features of the toy.

I really wanted to like this toy...it just did not do it for me. The awkward design, the uncomfortable straps, and the tedious adjustment make this toy more annoying than pleasurable. My boyfriend is on the girthy side (more than 5" in circumference) and has a larger head, and we struggled to get him to fit through the beaded circle (remember, it stretches into an oval shape when worn).
