The Sparkle vibes is a good toy if you need something cheap and quick. It doesn't have a lot of penetration value but is good for clit stimulation. The biggest problem I have with this toy is the battery consumption. If you want to buy a toy to use for a long time, this might not be a good choice. Even though the starting price is cheap, you'll need to factor in the cost of those batteries you will need to replace quickly. You can't use it in the bath or shower, and it feels "cheap" so I wouldn't suggest you be too rough with it.

The material is a hard plastic. There are no discernible ridges, the entire thing is smooth except for the base where you can control the vibrations which has ridges (those can help you change speeds if your fingers are a little slippery). The lack of texture makes it feel boring to me if used for penetration.

It's small, under six inches total, with less length to use for actual penetration. The shape is very simple and practical, just a cone that vibrates. Size wise, it worked well for travel, could pack it in your carry-on luggage without an issue (plus you get to see it on the x-ray machine).

The controls for the intensity are located at the base, which screws off and is where you insert the batteries. Personally, I think that it goes through batteries too quickly and the more often you use it, the more strained (loud) it sounds. This toy is not waterproof. The best function for me is clitoral stimulation, and I am hesitant to even try it anally. The controls are intuitive, although would be nice if there were more settings. Understandably, that could be a bit much to ask for such an economic toy.

Wash this toy with soap and water. Do not boil it. If you're going to share, just use a condom for it. It's easy to stow away in a drawer or even in a purse if you happen to have company that might decide to borrow a pair of socks without asking.
