The Twisties #1 is best suited as an anal probe. With its curved and tapered head, it is very easy to slide in, and the ring at the end of the toy makes a wonderful little finger handle! You can really control how quickly, slowly, and forcefully you insert it.

For me, it pretty much failed completely as a vaginal toy. The tip is too pointy to be comfortable. This made it especially difficult when my partner was trying oh so hard to please my pussy! Twisties #1 had to be inserted at JUST the right angle, otherwise it was a big "OUCH!" inside me. Being sensitive to smells, I immediately noticed a moderately strong and unpleasant aroma coming from the package. When I opened it, I wanted to throw it across the room. I cringed at the thought of putting it in my mouth, but really besides the smell, it actually didn't have much of a taste at all. Yay for that! PVC is a bit porous, so it doesn't slide in as easily as glass or silicone. The skin will grip it a bit, so be sure to be liberal with lube when you use this. Twisties #1 is smooth bodied, but because of the material it is made of, it does have a little more friction than other smooth toys.

The body of Twisties #1 is pretty firm with just a little bit of give. It is quite dense and does not compress much at all when squeezed or pushed.

I really like the shape of the toy (when used for anal play). It is not too big or too small - it's just about right! This is really great for those looking to start exploring their butts; really a great beginners toy. It's not that wide and I like that it has a "neck." The ring on the base is a very handy and doesn't spin or move around at all when you thrust with it. The narrow tip makes for easy insertion. Just be careful at the angle you thrust, it can be a little sore because of its pointy-ness.

This is a pretty small sized toy, and would be very easy to take along in a purse or small handbag. Feel free to take it with you wherever you go!

To start this toy a buzzing, you simply twist the ring on the back and it turns on. It's very easy to do, but the only downside is that you cannot adjust the intensity of the buzzing. There is only on and off, and no in-between. The vibrations are pretty average, nothing mind blowing, which is fine. If the vibrations are too strong, you can only turn it off. It is a pretty quiet toy. You certainly wouldn't be able to hear it behind closed doors or in the bath.

I let this toy soak in a glass of water over night, and it still worked the next day, so the waterproof feature definitely works. I looked in the compartment and didn't see any sign of water leakage or damage.

The Twisties #1 uses a single small battery, I think it's an "n" battery, and you get 2 with it. Which is a good thing, because before the end of the first use, I had noticed that the buzzing had gotten significantly weaker. We were using it for about a half hour or so before we turned it off, so it was a little disappointing that it had started to die so quickly. It would probably do better with an AA battery instead.

PVC is a fairly porous material so make sure to clean it VERY well with either soap and water, or (preferably) with an antibacterial toy cleanser. If you plan on sharing this toy, be sure to use a condom over it for safety. It does absorb odors a bit as well. If storing with other toys, be sure to keep it in its own storage baggie, pouch, or sock. You may use either silicone or water based lubes with this toy.

While I have enjoyed using this toy anally on my partner, it really did not do much for me vaginally. But that's ok, I think it's really best suited for anal play anyway. I would say that if it were made of a little bit better material, had a longer lasting power source, and had adjustable speeds, I think it would be the ideal toy for all persons starting in anal play.
