The High Intensity Bullet is a classic, typical sex toy in the recognizable bullet shape.

Female-bodied people will find that this bullet vibe kicks out some strong vrooms for the price -- if you know you want a vibrating toy, need some power, but don't need extra frills, bells or whistles, the High Intensity Bullet is the most economical choice. Barring N-battery usage, that is.

As a replacement bullet for your other toys, the High Intensity's shape is mostly perfect. I have used it as a replacement for my Love Bunny and my Pink Banana. I consider the Bullet much stronger than any removable bullet I've encountered by 2 or 3 vrooms, which makes it a viable option if you need to 'upgrade' a toy that just doesn't please.

Couples will find that the bullet is small enough to hold between two bodies with ease. It's also small enough to drop, slip out of wet fingers or possibly numb your fingers if you hold it for too long. Personally, I need substantial power outside of my body as an aid during PIV intercourse, and the Bullet accomplishes this nicely. I think it's a worthwhile aid.

Even considering the price, my first impressions of the Bullet were 'cheap'! The Bullet has an outer shell of plastic. I chose mine in the shiny silver, but it's just a finish. The Bullet consists of two pieces when unscrewed. The main parts are plastic, with a small, rubber o-ring between them to make it waterproof. The plastic shell is fairly thin, so you can feel it give slightly when pressed but the toy itself is mostly rigid.

The outer shell has no texture on it whatsoever. The Bullet has no smell or taste either and even though I've had it for a few weeks, the finish has not chipped or rubbed (which is a plus). On other plastic toys, I've noticed that even the oils from your fingers can remove the finish, but this one looks good so far.

The Bullet has a straight up and down shape -- it's no nonsense and no surprises. There are no variations or waves in shape and the tip tapers only slightly, maybe the last 0.75" of the tip. This tapered tip makes for good pinpoint stimulation.

The Bullet unscrews into pieces, stoppered by an O-ring which will keep it waterproof.

When unscrewed, you can see the interior is completely plastic as well, no surprise there either. The electronics are also exposed on the cap and internal compartment, which means you really should avoid getting any moisture in there. Moisture would corrode the electronics of the toy immediately.




The tapered tip and rigid plastic outer transmits vibrations very well. The entire toy is just about the length of your finger, so there's not much to hold onto. Between the vibrations and the small size, be prepared for a buzzy hand after using this! At the same time, the very small size makes the Bullet very portable -- you could easily toss it in your purse or pocket for play time anywhere. The low price makes it easy to replace if you lose or break it at any time. In terms of discretion, anyone who's familiar with sex toys will know this classic design.

The single-button control is located on the back or bottom of the toy. It's a simple, rubbery-feeling one-push button. There are no levels or patterns to the Bullet, just high!


Vrooms:
This 'high' level really is high -- I'd say it's 4 vrooms right off the bat. Comparatively, it's the secondmost strongest level on the Salsa and comparable to the Leaf vibes on their highest setting. Its small size and hard material make it feel stronger than many silicone toys, really. The only problem is that its thin plastic walls make the Bullet sensitive to pressure -- as soon as it touches anything, with any amount of pressure, you can hear the frequency of the toy go down and feel the vibrations weaken. In my opinion, it weakens the toy by less than 1 vroom, so I don't consider this a problem -- but it is noticeable.

Bees:
Bullet is in the exact middle for noise -- it's not ignorable, but it's not incredibly loud either. I'd rate it at about 2 bees with a high-pitched quality, a little bit whiny.


Unfortunately, this toy is a battery guzzler. I used it about three times and that's one N-battery down. Be sure to also never keep batteries in your toys, as cheap toys like this may continue to drain the battery even though they're not in use.

So far, I haven't had a problem with caring for the Bullet. Since it's not designed for internal use and certainly not anal use, this limits its exposure. I love toys that are waterproof, since submersing a toy in warm water and soap is, to me, one of the quickest and surest ways to make sure it's clean. The Bullet can also be wiped down with a toy wipe, antimicrobial-alcohol solution or a 10% bleach solution.

The fact that the Bullet is plastic makes it compatible will all lubes: water, oil and silicone. Go nuts!

I don't put much effort into storing the Bullet (and it didn't come with any storage options, either). Luckily, allowing it to touch the surfaces of other toys is not a problem, as the hard plastic is inert.
