G-spot, really?
If you can get it for free, like me, it 's not a bad catch. I wouldn't waste the money on purchasing, though. It just doesn't stand out from anything else. I'm sure there's better g-spot toys around!

Where do I start? I got this free, but was excited because I haven't had much g-spot play and thought it'd be worth a try. So, my favorite part is that it is easy to clean and I can easily change speeds during use.
As for use on the g-spot, I'm not so sure it works that well. Maybe more education on the g-spot would make this better for me.
Since it is so thin (plus!), I usually use it to get started. I feel that the length makes it a good toy for insertion (another plus!). Once I feel ready, I move on to my other toy(s). I tend to use it on my clitoris along with a dildo inserted. I also use it on my nipples once in a while.
I like the way it looks, but I wouldn't say it is discreet. There doesn't seem to be a scent to it. It is easy to store in the original packaging. It is smooth, which is comfortable for insertion, as well as using it outside the body. It is made of plastic, which is super easy for cleaning. I usually spray it down with toy cleaner before and after use. It's important to use clean toys for insertion. The hardest part to clean is the battery cover since there are ridges, but it just takes a little bit of time. The sound gets louder as you up the intensity. I like to hear the vibration, but have to be careful that the neighbors can't hear, so I usually cover with a blanket or two, just to be safe. It is a pretty pink color, but it seems like after a few uses the pink has started to wear off. I try not to think about what that could mean for where I'm using it! ;) I really like the adjustable speeds. I usually don't go full speed, though, since it feels pretty intense.
I don't use the attachment. I can imagine that would be difficult to clean since it has an odd shape and is a jelly-type material. I tried the attachment once and it just did nothing for me, which is why I don't use it.
Overall, I like the Shiny G, but not for it's advertised/intended purpose.

Experience
My experience... I like to insert the Shiny G into my vagina to help me get wet. The hardest part about this toy is that it is thin and can be slippery. I have found that it is difficult to hold on to when I get really wet, but the battery cover helps with that. :)
Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
I've found that this does suck at its advertised use for the g-spot. I have another vibrator/dildo that hits my g-spot and makes a difference. I haven't used this toy in quite awhile, but I would probably continue to use it for "foreplay".
