Finally Found Bliss
Bliss is a high-quality cordless egg vibe and definitely worth having. With plenty of power, a quiet motor, and 7 different vibration functions to chose from, it will suit a wide variety of users.

Pros
Rechargeable, cordless, awesome satiny surface, quiet, waterproof, multi-function motor
Cons
May be too big for some to wear discreetly, controller takes N size battery
California Exotic's Couture Collection Bliss is a wireless remote controlled egg with 7 vibration functions. Made from hard plastic with a satiny finish to the surface, it has the added benefits of being rechargeable and waterproof. It comes with a heart-shaped charging base and an adorable little remote that has a range of up to 16 feet.
Packaging is a thin cardboard box, with a matching tray inside that holds the charging base, Bliss egg, and remote. Underneath the tray is where the power cord, N size battery for the controller, and instructions are housed. I'm keeping the tray for storage, as it holds everything together nicely, but I'm recycling the outer box.
Since this vibe is made from hard plastic and is also waterproof, it's super easy to take care of. Just wash with soap and water, and use your lube of choice. Oh, how I love low-maintenance toys!
The egg itself is a bit on the larger size, measuring 3 inches long with a little over 1 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest part, so it has a max girth of 5 inches. Feel free to use it externally or insert it vaginally, but I don't consider this one safe for anal play. There's no flared base and I'm not so sure the nylon retrieval cord will keep it from going in too far and getting stuck.
To charge the vibe, place it in the base, attach the cord, and plug it in. There's a little red light on the base that will light up, as will the power button on the Bliss egg. When fully charged, the light on the Bliss will turn green. To use, press and hold the on/off button for a few seconds, and it will flash and then faintly blink. This indicates that it's in standby mode. Then, just hit the power button on the remote, and the motor will start off on the first setting. To change the vibration, simply press the function button on the remote and it will cycle through the various patterns. At any time, turn the motor off by pressing the power button on the remote. The egg will still be on, in standby mode, until you press and hole the power button for a few seconds to turn it completely off.
The vibration settings are, in order: slow constant vibration, medium constant vibration, fast constant vibration, escalating/roller coaster (starts off slow and rumbly and works up to a peak, then starts over), short pulses, faster short pulses, and a pattern of 3 short pulses followed by a long pulse (I think in the video I said it was 4 short pulses--I apparently can't count). The vibrations themselves are pretty standard, meaning not overly intense but enough for most people. What I really like is that they're not too buzzy, especially on the slower speeds.
The motor itself is pretty quiet and is really only audible when it reaches the faster vibrations and on the pulse settings, but even then you can barely hear it through the covers and not through a closed door. The nice thing about having a separate power button on the remote is that you can switch the vibe off quickly, without having to cycle through all the settings.

Experience
Let me just say how impressed I am with this vibe. I've been looking for a cordless bullet/egg for a while, and this one is superior to any others I've tried thus far. It is a bit larger than I'm used to, though. So when wearing it inside my panties there is a visible bulge. This is fine for around the house, and slipping the egg into my panties then handing the remote over to my partner is one of my favorite ways to use it, but I don't see me trying that out in public. Of course, inserting the egg vaginally and using it for internal stimulation resolves the bulge issue, but I really prefer to use this one for clitoral stimulation.
Even with the larger size, it's still fairly comfortable to wear. It's too big to fit inside any crotch pockets I have on my panties, so it tends to shift around a bit while I'm walking, but it doesn't seem to move very much. To be a bit graphic, my thighs kind of roll it back and forth between my legs with each step, so that adds a nice little variation.
I found that the egg needs to be positioned towards the front in order for me to sit down comfortably while using it, and I noticed that the remote can be a bit inconsistent when I'm seated. It sometimes skips a function or a button click doesn't register, so I think the egg maybe can't receive the remote signal very well, depending on how I'm sitting on it. Repositioning the egg usually takes care of that.
The surface rocks. I've become a huge fan of plastic vibes that have this satiny/velvety finish. It feels awesome. Needless to say, I am very pleased with this vibe and thrilled to have it in my collection.

Follow-up commentary
13 months after original review
As much as I love that the Bliss egg is rechargeable and cordless, I've come to the conclusion that the shape doesn't suit me. It's really too big for me to wear comfortably inserted or even just in my underwear for longer than a few minutes.
