Almost everyone has heard of rabbit style vibrators, and this one lives up to the hype! I can only hope that humans eventually evolve to the point that men are born with a vibrating bunny above their penis.

Pros
Excellent design, good vibrations, satisfying size
Cons
Pearl feature dies quickly, not waterproof, pearls take power away from the clit vibrations.
The Rabbit habit is a dual-stimulation vibrator, so you get the double fun of an insertable toy and a clit vibrator at the same time - woohoo! You can use this alone or hand it over to a partner to let them use it on you. The design lends itself to all sorts of fun options: you can insert it and use the clit vibe at the same time, you can just thrust it with no vibration, or you can flip it around so that the rabbit ears vibrate against you without inserting it. The options are only limited by your creativity and certain laws of physics. If this is your first vibrator, be prepared to be totally spoiled and never able to find a toy that doesn't have a clit vibrator acceptable.
The Rabbit habit is constructed out of smooth purple jelly. The texture isn't that different from skin, being mostly smooth with just a little bit of drag. I didn't notice a smell when I first opened it and still don't. Since this is jelly, you can use either water or silicone lubricant, but it can not be boiled to sterilize. You can bend the rabbit attachment around enough to change the angle, and there is a little bit of give in the shaft, but not a lot.
At 9" long (5" insertable) and a circumference of 3 3/4", it is large enough to provide a nice full feeling but not so large that inserting it is a challenge. The design loosely echoes the shape of a penis with a nice ridge around the head, but it has a bonus bump at the bottom where the pearls are. There are a few small raised bumps along the shaft for extra stimulation. The vibrating rabbit appendage has a built-in bullet and ears that are designed to target your clit, and let's face it, it is just plain cute. Although this toy is less realistic than a giant skin-tone dildo with balls, it isn't exactly something you could leave lying about and claim it's something else.
I have seen other rabbit style vibrators that have an attached control pack, but I prefer this wireless version's design! It's easy to hold the base and move the controls at the same time.
At the base of the handle are two sliding controls. One controls the speed of the vibration in the rabbit attachment, and the other controls the rotating pearls in the shaft. The dual controls give you the freedom to set one feature on high and the other on low, or turn one off altogether and just use the other. I have to say, I prefer this style of control over a rotating dial big time! The controls stay in place rather well unless you purposely move them. I don't think I've ever had one slip to a different setting on accident. Another nice thing about the sliding control design is that it makes it easy to see or feel where you are on the scale of low to high power. There aren't any patterns for the vibrations, just a basic low to high setting. I advise using fresh batteries as often as possible with this if you like a lot of vibration, as over time it can weaken a lot as your batteries lose power. I don't really notice how much weaker it has gotten until I do pop in new batteries and feel the difference!
The rotating pearls suck up a LOT of the power, so if you have them on, the clit vibrator will be much weaker. The pearl part is also quite a bit louder than the clit vibrator. At the lowest setting, the clit vibrator is really quite quiet - you can barely hear it through a blanket. Even at the higher speeds, the sound is easily drowned out if you have some music or other background noise on, so you can be fairly discreet with this, even with roommates or other not-so-private situations.
The rotating pearls never did much for me, in fact they didn't seem to move much. I'm not sure if I'm too tight to give them room to maneuver or if it's just a design flaw. They gave up rotating in general after a few months, but I don't really miss them. Now they just serve to add a nice texture and width to the lower part of the toy.
It uses 3 AA batteries which I love since you can find them anywhere. I have never really kept track of how long my batteries last, but I wouldn't call this toy a battery guzzler at all. The door to the battery compartment slides on and off which I like because I never accidentally pop it off during play!
This toy isn't waterproof which is one of the few negatives!
Due to being jelly, this toy requires a little more care than those made of hardier materials. You obviously can't boil it, but a careful washing with soap and warm water or toy cleaner will do the trick. Be sure to pay special attention to the ridge around the head as that seems to be where it gets dirtiest. I've also noticed a build-up of gunk (for lack of a better word) down at the very bottom near the battery area which is a little odd since it isn't even insertable to that point.
This toy does like to collect dust, hair, and basically anything it can lure in to sticking to it, so be sure to give it a nice quick wash before use, unless you are making it live like the boy in the bubble in a sterile environment. Even though I keep it tucked away in a bag, it still manages to accumulate cat hair between uses somehow. Magic! Or my cats are smarter than I think and are stealing it. I really hope not.
This was my very first vibrator, and although I've had it for almost three years now, it is still my favorite! I have to admit that the first time I used it, I had the feeling of "Oh, is that all?" afterwards. It was nice, but I didn't feel like it lived up to all the hype. However, over time I learned how to best make it work with my body, very similar to how you learn to please a lover, picking up tricks and learning how and where to touch them. Now it is my go-to vibrator and almost always gets the job done!
The only negatives I can think of are mostly involving the pearls. Mine quit working after a few months and when you use them, they suck up way too much of the power. I know that there are a ton of rabbit clones on the market now, so I would be pleased to find one that fixed these flaws while keeping all of the good qualities of this one!
The price might be considered a little steep, but I would rather have one great vibrator than two or three just okay ones, so I think this is totally worth it. I bought it as a Valentine's gift to myself, setting a standard for V-Day gifts that future boyfriends might have trouble meeting!
Follow-up commentaryI still like it15 days after original review
I've had this for several years now, so my opinion hasn't changed since I wrote the review. I still love it! I did realize that I forgot to mention in my original review that the upper portion of the shaft (the part above the pearls) also rotates when you turn the pearl rotation on. Mine never really moved much when I had it inserted. Like I mentioned, I found the rotation feature too much of a power drain from the rabbit himself to use much.
After a few years of use, this toy still has no odor. It does seem a little worse for wear. The color isn't as vibrant as when I got it, and the rotation feature doesn't really work at all anymore unless I have brand new batteries in. Even with that problem, this is still my favorite toy!

Thanks for the review! It's good to know about how the different features affect battery life.
