Excellent Alternative to Corded Wands
I'm actually really impressed with the Mystic Wand by Vibratex. It's not as powerful as my other wands but that is to be expected since Mystic doesn't plug into the wall. While it's not as powerful, Mystic Wand has a couple features that my other wands don't have. The most obvious feature is that it can be used anywhere. You don't have to be beside a power outlet. The second is that it can be fully submerged in water. It's a great wand and I'm happy to have it in my collection.

Pros
Cordless, waterproof, multi-function, rumble vibrations, easy to use, silicone, removable sleeve.
Cons
Loud, not as strong as other wands.
The Mystic Wand by Vibratex is available in the colours pink or black. I received the black coloured toy to review. The wand arrived in a clear, plastic package. The front of the packaging states the company name, product name, and the toy can be seen through the plastic. The back of the packaging is similar to the front and the sides state a few measurements, material, features, and care instructions.
The toy is sealed in plastic within the packaging. There is also a black, velvet storage pouch, which is also individually sealed, inside of the packaging. You could use the package as storage but I just use the included pouch. The pouch has a drawstring top and is all black in colour. There are no tags, text, or images on the storage pouch that would give away what is inside.
The head and neck of the toy are made of silicone (the white parts of the toy) and the handle (black part) seems to be made of a coated plastic. The top of the head is smooth. There are 6 grooves, which create a ribbed texture, that run around the entire head. This texture can be used for added stimulation, though you’d have to use the side of the toy rather than the top. There are seam lines that run up the neck of the vibrator but not on the head. The neck of the toy is the only part that has any flexibility to it.
The total length of the wand is approximately 8 ¼ inches. The head of the massager has a length of just less than 2 ½ inches and a circumference of 5 ¾ inches. The ribbed area is 7/8 of an inch in length. The neck of the toy has a length of 5/8 of an inch and a circumference of approximately 2 ¾ inches.
Mystic Wand requires 4x AA batteries, which are not included. The base of the handle twists off to access the battery compartment. It’s very easy to both open and close. There is a thick, clear O-ring around the compartment to ensure that no water gets into it. Just be sure to tightly close the lid before getting it wet.
There are 2 buttons to the wand. The lower button is the power button and the top button has an “F” on it, which I assume means “functions”. There is a smaller oval shape just above these buttons that I assumed was a button… but it’s not. It actually lights up when the toy is on and it flashes during pulsation modes. There is another oval above the white area, which is a clear colour. This is also a light indicator. It lights up a bright blue colour when the toy is on.
When you first turn the toy on, you’re met with the lowest intensity of constant vibration. There are six functions in total. To cycle through the different functions, just continue pressing that “F” button. The functions are as follows:
1. Low, constant vibration
2. Medium, constant vibration
3. High, constant vibration
4. Medium pulses
5. Pulses: short, short, long, and repeat
6. Quick pulses that escalate from low to high and repeat
To turn the toy off, just press that lower button once. When you turn the toy off and then back on, you’ll be met with the very first function regardless of where you had left off. Having only two buttons, the toy is really simple to use/understand. It’s definitely beginner-friendly.
The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire head but are strongest at the very top. The vibrations are rumbly rather than buzzy. I’m a power queen and need the rumbliest, strongest vibrations. I can be satisfied with the Mystic Wand but it takes a bit longer than some of my more powerful toys like the Couture Inspire or Hitachi. The noise level to the Mystic Wand is just a tad bit lower than the other two toys I mentioned. It can be heard through the covers on the lowest level and the highest level can be heard through a closed door. Below is a size comparison photo of the Mystic Wand (in the middle) beside the Hitachi Wand (far left) and the Couture Inspire (far right).

Experience
...continued
I didn’t find the size or weight of the toy to be an issue, especially since I’ve used the Hitachi. I love that the Mystic Wand doesn’t have a cord to it. The fact that it doesn’t have a cord is nice because I can use the wand to massage my partner’s back without having to be right beside a power outlet. My favourite Wand is the Couture Inspire, but Inspire plugs into the wall (and so does the Hitachi). The Hitachi is the heaviest of the three, and also the largest. The Couture Inspire is the lightest in weight. Below is another size comparison photo of the Mystic Wand beside regular household items. The wand is sitting beside a 355mL can of pop and a 500mL bottle of water.
So as I had mentioned, there is an O-ring around the battery compartment. The packaging states that the toy is “water-resistant for shower or tub”. In my mind, that means it is waterproof. The DR on the product page states that the toy is NOT waterproof but instead it is “splash proof”. If a package says that I can bring my toy in the tub, I assume (and expect) that I can fully submerge the toy without any isses.
Since I received the product for free to review, I decided I was going to fully submerge it and see what happened. The worst thing that could happen is that it doesn’t work ever again. Luckily, that wasn’t the case. You can see in the photo below that I submerged the toy in my sink. I left the toy in the sink for a couple of minutes and then turned it on. It works perfectly when submerged in water. I opened up the battery compartment afterwards and there was no trace of any water getting into the compartment.
You can clean the toy with soap and water, toy wipes, or a toy cleaning spray. The silicone head of the toy is actually a sleeve, which can be removed. You can sterilize the head by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol, a bleach water solution, putting the sleeve on the top rack of your dishwasher, or boiling it. You’ll want to pay particular attention to the ribbed area of the sleeve since this is the part that can hold lint, body fluid, etc. Speaking of lint, the sleeve picks up lint/hair/etc really easily. Even when I put the toy in the included pouch, it came out with little black specks on it. You should clean the toy both before and after each use.
Overall, I think this is a great toy! It’s not as strong as the Hitachi or Inspire but it has a few features that those two do not. I love that it’s cordless and that it can be brought into the water with me. I’ve deducted one star from the rating because the noise level is rather loud and I would have liked it to be a bit stronger. The Mystic Wand is going to be great for my solo sessions that I’d like to last a bit longer and for massaging purposes on my partner.
