Excellent All-purpose Vibrator

There are lots of reasons to like the Serenade and very few reasons not to. It’s a well-made, thoughtfully designed vibrator. This isn’t a specialized vibrator designed to target a specific area. There are no bells and whistles. Instead, what the Serenade offers is consistent satisfaction through its ability to deliver on the basics.

extremely useful review
It’s very difficult to dislike this vibrator. I actually tried to find something wrong with it and, in all honesty, I can’t. The Serenade won’t revolutionize the way you think of sex. It won’t leave you lying in bed, sweaty and confused, wondering what just happened. It will, however, serve as a very effective, reliable vibrator you reach for when you just have to get off.

The Serenade offers everything that a good basic vibrator should–strong, consistent vibrations, simple yet effective design, and easy operation. It is completely waterproof and operates on two AA batteries.

The top two thirds of the shaft is flexible, but not so much so that the vibrator is difficult to use or flops around. When pushing the vibrator hard against my clit, the head stayed in place. When inserting it, the flexibility allowed for a more comfortable grip and more pleasurable angle of penetration.

The vibrations are concentrated at the head of the toy and range in intensity from mild (something that would be appropriate for teasing or some light anal stimulation) to very powerful (on par with the strongest battery powered vibrators currently on the market).

I have found that most battery-operated vibrators are not powerful enough for me to climax from through clitoral stimulation alone. This wasn’t the case with the Serenade. The vibrations were definitely strong enough to provide me with a very pleasant orgasm without me needing to combine it with vaginal penetration.

When it comes to vaginal penetration, the Serenade has a few interesting features–it’s ribbed and it becomes slightly wider towards the base. When combined with the shaft’s flexibility, these design elements provide for a pretty amazing range of options.

I wanted to use the vibrating head to stimulate my vaginal opening and the bulbous head kept me from inserting too deeply. I wanted to enjoy the ribbing and the next set of bulbs allowed me to create that wonderful friction that comes from quick, shallow thrusting. I wanted to have that sense of fullness and the widest set of ribs at the vibrator’s base provided that.

Adjusting the vibrations with the Serenade came close to being a spiritual revelation. I’ve spent years fumbling around the twist-top bases of many vibrators–sticky hands that can’t get a grip on the base, turning it off when I meant to turn it down, impaling myself when I’m only trying to adjust the speed while still using it. With the Serenade, it is all about pushing a button.

The Serenade is made of TPR–a recyclable polymer. It’s eco-friendly, but also body-friendly as it’s phthalates-free. The Serenade is compatible with all lubricants and can be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner. If you decide to share the love, be sure to use a condom.

Informative review Lara! We also like toys of TPR construction and the vibes with push button speed adjustments for the same reasons. I think I'd also like to be Serenaded......

I've now tried two toys made out of TPR and it is getting dangerously close to becoming a new favorite of mine. It really is an awesome material. Push buttons are pretty awesome, too.
