The Lucky 13 is a 100% European silicone, G-spot vibrator that is part of the Roulette line by Evolved Novelties. This vibrator is a fairly simple one with a simple nonslip wheel that controls the variable steady vibration from low to high. That lovely, very functional wheel is where this vibe derives it's name from. Even though the Luck 13 doesn't really offer a lot in the way of bells and whistles, it does function well as a traditional vibrator and as a clit vibe also.

The texture of the 13 is smooth silicone with ribbing that resembles a belt, at least to me. The ribbing really only covers a band at the top and a band at the bottom of the vibe. The upper portion of ribbing was the only portion I could feel internally and was instrumental at rubbing my G-spot. I could only feel the lower portion at the entrance of my vagina.

What I really liked about the texture is that it's very smooth with no harsh edges, it just feels like smooth bulges. Because the texture is mild I think anyone can enjoy the Lucky 13 provided you can handle the 1 3/4 inch diameter.

The Lucky thirteen is odorless and tasteless and offers the luxury of silicone, one of the safest materials a vibrator can be made of. The Lucky 13 is Phthalate free and can be shared if properly sterilized between partners.

Let's start with size shall we? The Lucky 13 is big in terms of diameter, it's 1 3/4 inches. In terms of length, it's 7 3/4 inches long with 4 3/4 inches being insertable. Beginners should really have a good understanding of the girth Lucky 13 has to offer before purchase, because it's very filling. I think advanced users and size queens will really appreciate the girth.

In terms of shape, the slight curve really was too slight for me and wasn't the most exciting in terms of really stimulating the G-spot. I found the vibrations and band of texture to be more stimulating to my G-spot, but we're all different and the tip may work well for others.

Operation is quite simple. Simply rotate the roulette wheel to turn the vibrator on and increase or decrease the speed. The control wheel really does live up to the hype and is extremely easy to use, lubed up hands or not. As far as function goes, it just goes from low to high speed. Running on two AA batteries the high speed is fairly powerful and is strong enough to induce a clitoral orgasm for me. As far as internal stimulation, this vibe feels really good but didn't wow me or my G-spot. Thrusting is easy and the texture is mild. The curved tip is very slight and I found the band of texture at the top massaged my G-spot more effectively than the curved tip. G-spot stimulation was still pretty mild even with the vibration.

The vibration is located just below the band of texture toward the top of the vibrator making the middle section very flexible but not at all floppy. The flexibility allows the Lucky 13 to conform somewhat to inside of the Vagina. I found the vibrations to be well located near the tip and I could concentrate the vibrations in the area of my G-spot very easily. Used externally the Lucky 13 could be a little loud, louder than a bullet and it seemed to have some reverberation going on. When used internally it was very quiet and I doubt it could be heard through a closed door.

The Lucky 13 is waterproof and performs well in the shower and also passed a submersion test with flying colors.

The Lucky 13 is easy to care for, simply wash with water and antibacterial soap after use or you can use a 10% bleach to water solution to sterilize your toy. Silicone lube should not be used with the Lucky 13. Long term storage is a cinch if you choose to use the lovely case provided by Evolved. I really like the packaging Evolved went with for the Roulette line. The storage container is thick translucent plastic with two fold over locks, one on either end of the of the case. The script on the front of the case is done in purple and black and has very feminine swirls around the sides. I just love the fact that Evolved thinks of our vibrator storage needs!
