Cal Exotics' Advanced Risque Dual Teasers is a battery operated, corded, dual bullet toy with two simple to use buttons that control each bullet separately. The longer bullet has five increasing, steady vibration speeds, while the shorter bullet has five vibrational patterns. This is meant for external stimulation: tease your clit, nipples, outer anal area... wherever you enjoy vibrating pleasure. A word of caution, though: as with other corded bullet toys, neither bullet should be inserted into the anus - the cord could break, resulting in a lost bullet and an embarrassing trip to the ER. Also, the Advanced Risque Dual Teasers is not waterproof, so it should not be used in or around water.

The Advanced Risque Dual Teasers is made of PU coated plastic, ranking a 7 on Eden's material safety scale. It is food-grade material that is hypoallergenic, latex and phthalates free. Both the control pack and bullets feel velvety smooth to the touch. The control pack itself has two hard plastic ovals (one on each side) to aid in gripping the toy while in use. Both bullets have no added texture; however, both have a raised plastic ring around their middles which could collect lubricant and body fluids, though thorough cleaning should remedy that.

The entire toy is practically odorless other than a slight "new toy" smell. There is also no taste present.

The control pack for the Advanced Risque Dual Teasers is 4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. It sits nicely in the hand; the textured plastic grips on the sides allow the user to maintain grip with sticky or lube covered fingers. The two operating buttons are easy to click with your thumb while the control pack sits in your palm. A single cord is attached to the bottom of the control pack; it is 28 inches in length before splitting in two, giving the bullets 3 inches of cord each. The larger bullet is just shy of 2 1/2 inches long, with a 1 1/4 inch diameter and a 4 inch circumference (measured around the raised plastic ring). The smaller bullet is 1 3/4 inches long, with the same diameter and circumference as the larger one.

The toy is not entirely discreet looking; it looks exactly like what it is - a dual bullet vibrator. However, it is very easy to hide and travel with.

The Dual Teasers is operated by three AAA batteries (not included). The back of the control pack houses the battery compartment; press up on the lined grip on the lid to remove, insert the batteries as the + and - signs instruct, replace the cover, and you're ready to rock.

Each bullet can be operated independently from the other; the top "5X" button controls the smaller, patterned bullet, while the bottom "5S" button controls the larger, steady vibrating bullet. To turn either on, simply click its button. To turn off, hold the button for three seconds. Each bullet has five functions, which are accessed by simply clicking the button to cycle through them. Once you reach the fifth setting for either bullet, the next click will bring you back to the first speed or pattern.

The larger, "5S" bullet has five steadily increasing, constant vibrations: low, mid-low, medium, high-medium, and high. The vibrations for both bullets are surface buzzy; they can be felt through the entire bullet, but are more concentrated in the tip opposite the cord.

The smaller, "5X" bullet has four patterns and one steady speed (all of them are of the same high intensity of the highest speed of the larger bullet):

1. 5 long pulses, 14 fast pulses, followed by 5 seconds of very fast pulsing
2. 5 long pulses, 6 slightly shorter pulses, followed by 3 seconds of very quick pulsing/throbbing
3. Steady, fast pulsing
4. Steady vibration the same intensity as the larger bullet's fifth, highest setting
5. Pulses in the rhythm of: dadaDAAAH dadaDAAAH dadaDAAAH DAAAH DAAAH

Each pattern repeats itself until the button is clicked for the next or shut off.

The toy's sound is not very discreet (with either bullet used separately or together). The sound can easily be heard from under covers or while someone else is in the room. However, the toy cannot be heard through a door regardless of what settings either or both are on.

The Advanced Risque Dual Teasers is not waterproof, so care should be taken while cleaning it to prevent water from entering the battery compartment. The control pack can be wiped down with a damp cloth or toy wipe; the bullets can be washed with soap and water, toy wipes or cleaner (making sure to clean thoroughly around the raised plastic ring around the middle of the bullets). If desired, both water and silicone-based lubricants are safe to use with the toy.

The toy can be stored in the package it came in or, because it doesn't attract lint or hair, placed in a drawer or toy box.

The Dual Teasers comes in typical Cal Exotics packaging; a non-discreet plastic box which allows the toy to be easily seen through it. The box states the name of the toy, the manufacturer, how many batteries it takes, a picture of the toy on the back, operating instructions, and basic functions of the toy. The bottom lip of the box states that the toy should not be immersed in water, remove the batteries when not in use, and even though Silicone lubricant is safe to use with PU coated plastic, the company suggests using water-based. Inside, the toy itself sits in a clear plastic tray and a generic battery insertion instruction sheet is included.

While I personally prefer deeper, rumbly vibrations over surface buzzy ones, the Advanced Risque Dual Teasers was fun to play with. It is easy to hold and operate, and can get the job done. However, while the toy is neat in theory (with its dual bullets that can be operated independently), I found its cord length a little hard to work with. Each bullet only has three inches of cord, which doesn't allow them to be separated too far. This makes playing with a partner (with each person using one bullet) difficult, unless you are sitting practically on top of each other. It also makes stimulating different body parts difficult; using one bullet on the clit and the other on nipples is almost impossible if you're not a contortionist. Again, while this is a fun toy to play with, it needs longer, or separate, cords.
