The shiny blue eggs have a matte, somewhat velvet finish to them without being too grabby. They are made of hard plastic, so they have no noticeable taste or smell out of the package. They are smooth with relatively little heft, even with batteries inserted.

The remote control is made of the same material, save for the hard plastic buttons that give a satisfying 'click' when cycling through the functions.

I was chuffed to bits to see that this bullet came with an egg attached. The egg is just large enough to comfortably fit without much fuss and with little to no extra lubricant required, but is still able to be felt internally. It does have a rubber waterproof seal, so make sure to tighten the battery compartment all the way before insertion to prevent moisture from getting inside.

The remote has a decent range both with and without clothing on, but you'll hardly be manipulating it across the room. I found it has about a 5-7' area where it will work beneath clothing, but it can be finicky. The bullet will NOT shut off if you wander too far, and sometimes it can be difficult to get the remote to turn it off again when you get back into range once more. The freshness of the batteries will effect this, so be vigilant in taking them out when not in use to prolong the lifespan.

There is sufficient wire running between the egg and the bullet that deep insertion is possible without issue. The bullet is fairly standard in size and should fit snugly against your lady bits. I didn't find the excess wire to be cumbersome or awkward when clothes were put on, but I did find that the extra length of wire sometimes made it hard to keep the bullet placed where I wanted it.

Please bear in mind that neither of these toys should find themselves inserted in your sweet behind. Anal play is off-limits, as neither part has a flared base needed to keep it from drifting off into the nether-regions of your digestive tract. External use is perfectly acceptable, but make sure to thoroughly clean and disinfect any toy that comes into contact with your anus before switching to any other part.

The remote control is compact, bright, and easy to read. There are three buttons and an on/off slider. Hit the bottom of the button to turn the remote display on and off, and then you can press left and right to cycle through the settings.

The settings for the vibrations, however, may as well be written in ancient Babylonian. The levels are listed on a scale from 1-10, with two rows of hearts at the bottom that are supposed to give you some kind of clue about what kind of vibrations are happening in the bullet at any given time. I couldn't possibly tell you how to decipher them, but I'm sure you or your partner will figure out what you like. The vibration patterns range from pulses, escalations, and just straight-forward buzzing.

The egg's vibration patterns do not change with each setting, which is moderately disappointing. I could barely feel it after a short period of time, and then the star of the show became the smaller bullet.

The toy itself is shockingly quiet. I tried it in a variety of settings both with and without clothes and the noise is virtually undetectable even with a minimum amount of background noise - I'm impressed! Unfortunately, I learned after the toy ate up two sets of batteries that you absolutely need to remove them from the toy when it's not in use. The bullet/egg combo does not have a power switch, meaning it's constantly 'awake' looking for signals from the remote. It can and will demolish your batteries if you let it!

The clean-up on this toy is remarkably simple. The business end, the vibrator/egg components can be safely submerged in water so long as the battery compartment is shut tightly. Simply hose it down with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner and toss it in a drawer. It does not tend to attract lint or hair, making it extremely low-maintenance. If you need to clean the remote, simply wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not place it in water, as it is not sealed against moisture.
