Didn't quite hit the spot
It could be worth it if you know what you are doing. We did not particularly find it exciting, but we do plan on attempting again.

Pros
Great vibe, waterproof
Cons
A little big
The Waterproof Jelly Glitter G toy is made out of jelly; I did not find that this toy had a smell to it, but my girlfriend and I clean our toys pretty well. The surface is soft and not hard, and it does not really have any texture to it. The toy takes AA batteries, as well.
However, I did not believe the toy quite hit the spot that it was intended to. This is my girlfriend's and my first time using a G-spot toy, so maybe we were doing it wrong, but it never quite hit our G-spots at all. We found it to be a little too big around the girth, and it slightly hurt going in -- the part I am talking about is the part that bends, that is intended to hit the G-spot. Maybe if the part that was supposed to hit the G-spot was a bit firmer, or had maybe a little bit of texture to it, it would have worked, but I am not completely sure. I would not use it as a regular dildo because of the curved piece; it may work only if you angle it correctly, I suppose.
On the other hand, if used as a clitoral stimulator, this vibrator is close to perfect! The vibe is definitely strong -- maybe not the strongest, but it is strong. The good thing about it is that it is waterproof, too, so you can bring it into the shower with you if you want.
Overall, I am not sure that I would recommend the Waterproof Jelly Glitter G for beginners. I would definitely recommend knowing what you are doing, and not going into it blind like we did. We plan to try it again sooner or later, once we read-up on a few other things.
